Since this is the only place on the internet where you are allowed to express hatred without repercussion.
However you fail to understand the nature of the matter so I'll explain it to you as a if you are a "tourist".
This "hatred" is not just "bait funny xdd". It is a genuine expression of emotion that has only the goal of introspection into why you hate something.
Once you let the hatred through you, you learn how it was a part of you and if you want it to remain that way or expel it altogether.
That is applied to all of 4chan.
It becomes much more of a tool of learning about yourself than any other social media platform.
In this way /vt/ hate threads are a tool to learn why you hate a vtuber and through that expression, to learn if you want that hate to dwell in you or if you want to let it go.
