As a company I appreciate that they are open to people who can't heavily commit to being a fulltime vtuber for X reason (school, work, etc.), while still supporting those who do want to put in more time. I like individual livers and I like the general atmosphere you come across in Nijisanji events and collabs. I don't pretend to know every liver but I respect that each one has fans for one reason or another.

Companies with a smaller amount of people don't want their roster cluttered up with people who only stream 1-2 times a week. Even big companies like Hololive don't want that. They let some of their legacy members slide but new contracts are 3+ days per week and they recruit people who want to be career streamers. Even Nijisanji English does this. ID and KR are still full of part timers though.
