That's not really true, native English speakers can deal with more heavy accents or heavy dialects than ESLs from what i have observed.

I don't have any issues with dialects usually unless it barely qualifies as English, but when the pronunciation is unpredictable such as with Haachama's accent, if you can call it that, i start to struggle.

This thread is full of people getting worked up over nothing. If you watch Haachama long enough, you know what happens when she engages the English chat, reads English marshmallows, etc. But let's face it, she encourages the retardation with her behavior. That was especially true today. Eventually you just learn to empty your mind and laugh at whatever silly thing she's doing. She sounded tired today but still laughed throughout the stream. I have yet to see the usual suspects from her core fanbase complain about this stream and they are usually quick to voice their discontent.

The live views for the stream were indeed low. However, the number of views has doubled on the VOD in less than 12 hours. The numbers might not be terrible after a day. There were many clip-worthy moments in the stream. Unfortunately, Haachama's views have been on the decline for a while now. A lot of people just peek in on her when she does something truly ridiculous. Wonderful streams like her summer singing don't get the attention they deserve.

It is possible she could become more popular with the English audience. There is still the issue of balancing her content to not alienate her Japanese viewers. Ideally, she would be able to speak both languages during a stream and engage both audiences. This annoys some people but the alternative of using only English for the entire length of a stream has proven troublesome in the past. Some folks think she should simply not care about the EN audience and go JP only. I don't know what effect that would have on her career, maybe it would not be a bad choice. I just think it would be a shame to close a chapter on her life as a failure, accepting she wasted her youth abraod for nothing. And honestly, she lost motivation to stream after returning to Japan. Conquering her past failure and connecting with a worldwide audience might be a necessary long term goal to keep her motivated.
