Depressed presumably due to it being close to the anniversary of a family death she alluded to in her early Detective Diaries. In one of her Supa Sundays around January she was talking about how her family was taking shifts at the hospital but had to mute herself to cry. Near the end of December she reverted to her habit of playing games non-stop to forget the pain, streamed 3 times a day almost every day at one point and eventually burned out for real.

Towards the end of December Ame was starting to feel depressed because she was reminded of a bad event that took place in her life the previous year around the same time. There was a week where she played a ton of Minecraft and streamed for over 40 hours.
In January she felt burnt out both mentally and creatively. The former resulted in a weird short-lived attempt at a half schedule/half guerilla methodology to her streams which she quickly realized didn't work, and the latter caused her some mental grief until Enma (that's what she said back then but it was probably actually Jenma) told her it was fine to just play games when she couldn't think of anything.

I'm going to say that "total burnout" >>9329421 is an exaggeration though, her streaming output wasn't drastically low and I remember one guy keeping her schedule graphic up to date with her guerillas to prove it because schizos were laying into her hard. This was the same period of time she wrapped up LA Noire/Outer Wilds and did cool stuff like AI Dungeon.

There's a main quest. In order to progress it she needs to give one of her Daedric artifacts to the guy voiced by Sean Bean. She's been sitting on that for a while, but she's been doing other shit every stream like the Arena or Dark Brotherhood so I don't really see the issue.

I think getting out of your comfort zone and being experimental is a double edged sword.
See Ame, she never conforms to only playing games and doing karaoke like most holos, theres always something new that she's trying to do. That makes people expect more and more from her, and be harsher on their judgement.
Theres also the mental pressure of being seen as someone creative and trying to one up yourself everytime to meet yours and other people's standards.
She needs to find the balance of sticking to 1 thing for a while and refining her formula instead of trying to adapt or change the concept (see Ame in the AM and her idea of changing it to a detective style show now).

The current format is like a highlight show of some major event things that happened over the week and brings focus to some of the JP and ID members that don't get a lot of exposure to the EOPw (basically AsaCoco lite). This format also allows freedom to have variety in the segments, without anything new feeling out of place.
If it is just a dective show, because lore, more than likely it will have to be reformatted as a single issue type program (think one of those single issue news programs) and focus on and investigating that topic. Anything new could be hard to integrate into the show without feeling forced and breaking the flow. As its own concept it would be cool, but to change the current format of Ame in the AM, into this it wouldn't work and especially without backlash from fans.

It's like >>9338359 said. Unlike Japan where the Holos all live within close distance to the office, ENs spread out across the globe and the ones in America are all too far from one another where they'd have to make arrangements just to visit each other because the country is just so damn big.

Its a literal interpretation. Ame said hi, asked her what she was doing and then said "Ok bye!" and then Gura proceeded to make her baby voice and say "are you leaving? Do you want to play with me?" Ame stays silent for a couple seconds and then says "... i can't say no to that" which isn't an overwhelmingly excited response. And i'm not saying she didn't have fun or she didn't like Gura, but she clearly didn't expect to collab with Gura when she called.
