That's one reason pre-recording might be better. There's a lot of potential for jokes with the alternate timeline ame stuff, but it's hard for her to do it seamlessly with good timing when she's producing it and playing every character live. If she edited it she could even have overlapping dialogue or full on conversations, imagine like a network news-style "panel" of alternate ames harshly debating something ridiculous. Seems like it would be pretty funny.

As a twitchfag Streamers creates a persona to stream. Sometimes that persona is very similar to the real person, but never the same. In the case of vtubers, that difference is more obvious, but it's the same thing.
That said, Ame seems to be pretty honest, i like that. You have trillion of cases of IRL streamers who are incredibly fake and you can tell that they don't even enjoy what they do and lie on certain topics to make themselves look good or things like that.

I feel kind of sorry for her when it comes to sponsored streams. Especially when she doesn't enjoy doing them or get any that she's keen about. This was one of those "contractually obliged" ones, but even if it wasn't she's almost coerced into doing some because it looks bad if you don't. Similar to working overtime, nobody who's doing fine with money really wants to do it, but you get peer pressured into accepting. I read that in Japanese companies employees will often say for extras hours (with no added pay), and furthermore they don't even need to be doing anything.
