smart in my experience is the ability to recall and apply knowledge, as I have stated. Being able to make connections or come up with ideas is a part of it as well, but intelligence as a concept is sort of being broken down. People are naturally skilled at different things/learn differently. But when I think about people who I know that I consider smart it is generally their ability to examine a problem and think about solutions. Extra bonus points if the solution is practical.

Despite ame presenting aparent similar problems shes just lazy/too confident on her own ability to create and resolve stuff on the run, and honestly she does great, better than how Kiara or Mori would manage things up

Ina is smart but Gura is just as smart if not smarter, her ability to manage everything is actually the best in HoloEN, just shows the unironical brain potential she has, similar to how Ina shows achievements

And mori is really not good at performing anything, shes always ok, of course above 99% of the chubbas on the planet but in holo EN gen 1 shes mid tier, i would honestly consider Ames potential to be higher than mori

You can kind of measure their intelligence in how they approach things that they aren't able to do.

Ina knows the grind of drawing and knows what steps need to be done to go from zero to good and knows how to apply her method of learning to other areas of her life, which is why she seems good at everything, she doesn't starts good at things, she always says so, but knows how to learn really well and really fast. She went from being rekt by her takos in MK to being the gigachad of the tournament.

Then you have Kiara. She's really selective about the things she wants to learn but when she does she can grind them to perfection. Like her japanese or her korean duolingo today, she's not dumb at all, just kind of... disinterested.

Gura is an odd case. She seems really bad at most stuff but really really good at some specific stuff. Kind of a savant. Some things just click for her and you wonder how the hell did she do it if she barely knows math. Not really dumb but also not conventionally smart. She's really entertaining and witty though, and that has to count.

Mori grinds really well but the new info doesn't enters her head really well. She's a workaholic and that has let her rise through sheer effort and that's to be commended. You don't have to be gifted to triumph.

Then you have Ame. The kind of person that bangs her head into her keyboard or controller until she solves the problem in front of her. She doesn't takes an approach that lets her learn stuff and is more of a knuckle head. I don't dobut she's creative, she tries really hard to provide a novel experience for her viewers, but I don't think she's smart.
