I don't care, but if your entire schtick is "cute girls doing cute things", then the immersion is ruined when you have a boyfriend, and having people give you money just comes off as disingenuous. I don't care about Niji's or Vshojo's having BF's because they're schtick isn't cute girls, it's just entertainers which is a difference. One appeals to lonely NEETS and takes advantage of them, the other is just a streamer. That's literally the entire point of idol culture as well, which is why it's basically like using someone to get more money off them.
