Kiara said in her latest stream that she had no input in her initial design, only input in her casual outfit. She then elaborated on the different cases that exist in hololive: auditions where the designs were public, auditions where the designs were private, and the special case where the talent hired worked with the artist on the character design.

The first case we have examples of such as Hololive Fantasy or the 2 Kakage designs. The second case is most likely applicable to the majority of the hololive girls; there was a time where Fubuki talked about the first gen auditions and how after they were chosen, they were shown the designs and she picked the fox one for herself. The third case I don't have any names off the top of my head; perhaps someone else would know.

In regards to the second case, perhaps Cover creates designs based off their knowledge of the talents they end up hiring (at least, for the newer gens anyways), which could potentially explain why some of them fit so well. In such a way, they technically aren't giving direct input in their design, but the designs are influenced by data Cover collects from the interview process.

These are only some of her biggest defects. She's decent, but nothing amazing. She's shaping up to be another Kiara/Ollie clone, but definitely more bearable and appealing to the regular EOP.
