Probably due to marketing reasons. Setting up and promoting a new persona is much easier than adjusting an already existing one to corporate standards. Acceptance may also become an issue (acquiring an already existing persona vs. one that started and grew with the brand).

On top of that intellectual property also plays a role in here. A new character will likely be completely owned by the agency, whereas as Lyrica she could demand to retain atleast some of her rights, which goes against the common business model of established agencies.

You will not see or hear an announcement along the line of "Hey, I used to be XY before". Means all you can rely on is your knowledge of her old persona, compare it with any new persona that is popping up in the future and see if it matches. And ofc her voice.
