If you actually care, I started digging into what 'highschool' is like in Australia. It seems like they have specialized schools for mid to late teens and that some people don't go to those specialized schools and instead go straight to working in a field. Then, after the specialized 'highschool', you can opt to also go to college. Can't say how any of this might factor in, but it lines up with her talking about going to school for art that she/we talked about maybe 10-15 threads back.
