Now we need to do a higher resolution version, involving tectonic plates so we know where the mountain ranges are, and then set up climates according to where they are editorially, where the region is related to their costs, and weather the winds blowing west or east would make that region arid/dry or a wet climate depending on it's location near a mountain and wind direction.

Also the only major problem with this map is the continent where the EN gen 2s hasn't been identified yet. If Ame was smart, she'd just put it to the left or right, but she'll probably put it south- running any initial HololiveStrangereal map making plans as shifting everyone else up further north will drastically change climates in their relation to the equator.

This thread has drawn out the histiographer in me so I'm going to take a completely inane guess at which of these would become a world power, and how they'd actually develop as independent countries. This is going to be a really wild guess since I only have >>7982324 to work off in terms of rivers, and I can only make educated guesses about the actual terrain of the places based off land forms and who the region is based off.

working West to East, ID is likely to be fairly stagnant geopolitically. If we're to assume Hololand has the same wind patterns as earth, ID island will be incredibly dry and barren, with the winds blowing moisture off its interior in both directions, with the Peafowl Princedom and the Melfriends being the only countries to have large areas with the pleasure of wet, inland blowing winds to give them reliable rains. The Zomrades also get this along some parts of their east coast, but will have an incredibly dry interior, with the rain only serving to feed coastal trade downs.

The Peafowl Princedom will likely be the regional power, with the largest population from large size and reliable rain fall, as well as having convenient trade with both the Zomrades and the Takodachi. They'll almost certainly invade east into IRyS Archipelago, taking the two westernmost islands because 1. its easy and 2. its more of a risk not invading them invading them. the Peafowls may also invade the fertile south of Zombie country, and depending on whether or not the rivers for Iofiland go into Peafowl territory or not, they may also have to invade their to secure their river sources, or at the very least exert some sort of power into the lakes to prevent who ever owns them from doing something to their rivers. The Melfriends will largely keep to themselves, with their only contact to the outside world being through trading goods to the Zomrades. The Zomrades will make most of their money facilitating the trade route from the Melfriends to the Peafowl Princedom. Moonland and Treerrat Republic will be literal who land.

EN is more geographically complicated. I'm going to tackle IRyS land first. IRyS land is (sadly) destined to be pushed around and exploited. The north have a similar climate to the Peafowl kingdom, albeit a bit warmer and wetter. With winds blowing onto the Merakyat coast, it'll likely be easy for the Santas to stage raids along the wealthy Merakyrat coast, which will in turn cause the Peafowls to try and project power into the IRyS main island, as well as setting up forts along the coast for defense. the main island will also likely see a lot of trade from the Zomrades, and Peafowl, making money sending goods from the Peafowl Princedom to the Teammates and Takodachi. The southern islands, with no trade route going through them, and being too hot and humid for anything of note to be built their, will be a poor, diseased, outlaw ridden backwater rarely spoken about by the better off northerners

The Takodachi are in a really nice spot. With a nice, inland breeze on the north coast, a drier, more defensible south, and easy trade with the Peafowl, they'll probably be the most stable power in the region. They're also capable of staging naval raids into the Hope Archipelago and the Peafowl Princedom, forcing both to create more naval forts. To the south of them is the Mythical Desert, blocking any advances from that direction. South and West is no issue, allowing them to easily use there raid and trade money to project power east into the underworld.

To the east of the Takodachi is the underworld. The underworld is fucked, and I'll get into why shortly. essentially, the underworld is caught between the interests of two far better equipped powers. the KFP need to secure the source of the Bird Choker river, as well as secure the defense of the City of the majestic phoenix which is fairly close to the border by making the border further inland. In every world, there are Russias, there are Germanies, there are England and there are Frances. There are also Polands: the underworld is a Poland.

KFP on its own is in a pretty good position: plenty of wet, inland blowing winds, plenty of river coverage, which will make lots and lots of farmable land, and easy to navigate internal sea routes that will keep the countries coastal regions fairly well connected. under the assumption that it is similar to Australia it is mountainous, giving it good defensive geography, and apparently 4 separate major cities. They also have access to the incredibly powerful Atlantean trade route (I'll get into that later) which would give them wealth rivaling that of the Takos to the west. They and the Peoples Republic of SHUUDPASNL to the north of them will have amicable relations, with them both being more useful to the other alive than dead, and both of them being incredibly inconvenient for the other to invade. There is however one issue: the open plain to their west. KFP has a river with a source in the underworld. not only that, but its also a river that is awfully close to their capital, which mind you is also awfully close to the border. With this considered, the KFP have two options: take the underworld or die trying.

The KFPTako hell war could go either way. They're both incredibly wealthy, and both have strategic advantages over the other. KFP is larger and has mountains which breed people cultural dispositioned towards being good fighters, meaning that a KFP Deathsquad would likely be the most efficient singular fighting force fielded on the entire HoloEN/ID mega-continent. The Takos have a more experienced navy from coastal raiding, which will allow them to perform raids on KFP's vulnerable coast, undefended by her mountains.

Now for Atlantis. It likely won't be as populated, due to large parts of its interior being desert or inland sea. It will also be swelteringly hot, sitting squarely on the equator. Despite this however, life in Atlantis will be good. Too rife with tropical disease, jungle, and desert, to be an easy target for coastal raiding from gen4 to its south, it gains only benefits from the winds blowing towards it from gen4 and the Teammate republic, as well as their proximity to the KFP, allowing them to take goods from each, and distribute them to the other in exchange for profit, allowing Atlantis to become a wealthy trade hub.

The Teammates find themselves in a similarly enjoyable situation: with a desert, a colossal atoll, and Atlantis between them and any potential threats, plenty of wet, farmable land in the south of the country, and multiple lucrative trade routes on their borders. The only issue they face is having to prevent piracy in the southern inland sea, dealing with the occasional Tako or Santa pirate to the west, and the looming threat of desert bandits in the north.

I thought I'd return to simplicity with 4th gen but nope, this ones a massive mess of conflicting interests as well.

First of all the Kanatan Atoll. This ones by far the simplest to explain. The Kanatan Atoll trades, and tries to prevent piracy. Its in no ones best interest to invade it because holy fuck that things going to be a nightmare to keep subjugated, and you'll piss everyone else off by doing it because you'll be making trade harder, and it doesn't have enough arable land to have a population large enough, and its too distracted by dealing with piracy bred by its geography, to project its power outside of its own sphere of influence. Its not a power, but its not at risk either: its just kind of there.

Now onto the Watamestan: Its all desert. Only a small portion of it is arable, along the east coast, the rest is unfarmable, unlivable desert. However there is good news! This gives it great defensive geography! IT also has a trade route that goes right through it. There is also however bad news: It has the massive Dragon States of America up stream from it along that route. There is yet however more good news: The DSA is very thinly spread and very distracted. While Watamestan won't be pulling anything crazy in the region, at least for the time being it gets to benefit from the trade route, through piracy and through honest exchange, at least until the Dragon States has caught its breath from whatever its dealing with on its eastern side.

The Dragon States of America is, on one hand, very big. On the other, most of it is useless desert. Only the southern parts of it are farmable. What's more, the Tokogawa Towa Shogunate to the west would be stupid not to try and pick off territory that could easily be theirs, especially when the DSA gives them such an easy shot at their heartland.

War between Twappistan and the DSA is inevitable. It will also be incredibly messy: both have roughly the same amount of arable land, so similar populations. In the end of the day, victory in the war is left down to who ever can man a better navy.

Finally the Candy Kingdom. The Candy Kingdom is a Utopia. The entirety of the island it resides upon is arable, and it has an internal sea that keeps the entire thing pleasantly internally connected, it has a trade route going through its land. I at first thought "wow, the Lunaito are going to be super militaristic and aggressive" but then I realised: why would they? they already have everything they could ever want, and everyone else is over seas from them. The one thing that could pull them into a conflict is on the off chance Twappistan has the second coming of Admiral Yi among their ranks, and so utterly obliterates the DSA that they still have the energy to go for the nearby islands, but that's such an extreme fringe case that I might as well not include it. Luna is ruling her kingdom on easy mode.

alright, quick warning about gen 5: there's not much going on because oh boys its all desert. I was initially just going to put something saying "its desert, not much goes on, the nekkos and Lamy raid a little, the Nekkos lost a bit of land to the Lamy's, the Clownfuckers are the closest thing to a regional power, but they are still fairly isolated" but I decided that was boring, so I drew in some rivers to try and make things more interesting.

First of all, the arable region in the north east of the North East of the People Republic of SHUUDPASNL, the sprout of the Nekko, is likely home to some massive mountains. Its also home to plenty of outgoing currents wings that would allow for easy raiding of the KFP coast, the under world, and the Takodachi Theocracy. If you were paying attention back during the KFPTako Hell war you'd know by now that mountains have a tendency to breed strong fighters. This carrot top will prove to be the birthplace of the world greatest raiders, this worlds Vikings. It will also likely be the sight of the capital, as its where the most able bodied and militaristic people (the ethnicity of the ruling dynasty) will live, as well as it having the boon of being at the head of the countries rivers, letting it project power downstream. The rest of the country, with the exception of the KFP and Republic of Lamy border will be inhabited mainly by frail, easy to oppress irrigation farmers. The ruling class dwelling in the sprout will keep their empire held down largely by river boat. To the east, the Republic of Lamy are ran in a similar way, with the ruling class living at the source of the countries rivers, and projecting their power into the irrigation systems along it, much like the Mesopotamia of our world.

The Lamy and Nekko are bound to fight over any arable land they can find, so the Nekko land on the lamy borders is bound to cause contention. Closer to the Lamy center of power, but downstream from the Nekko capital, the Lamy fight with the advantage of being closer to home, but the Nekko fight with the advantage of having access to the water ways.

The Omaruza are far off and isolated, having relatively plentiful arable land, but no connecting river system to unite the country with. cut off from everyone else, they will get by largely on their own, occasionally trading goods with the Hoshiyomi dwelling in the freezing north.

The Hoshiyomi don't have much arable land due to cold, a novel oddity in this world filled with hot deserts. They likely make a killing selling spruce wood and amber to the Omaruza. The Nekko raiders also likely make a killing selling stolen spruce carvings and amber jewelry to the KFP and Takos.

The Bo-Dan in the south live in an isolated, sweltering set of tropical jungles and savannahs, scattered across the various islands. unsuitable for birthing civilization of its own, and too far away from anything else for them to pick up the institutions of civilization on their own, the Do-Dan remain hunter gatherers, organized as a tribal confederacy, at least until outsiders introduce them to new institutions.

Most of the "handle" in Teamate Kingdom is actually entirely artificial. It took many years, and is one of the greatest engineering achievements of Watson Industries.
The project name was "Rail Bridge", but no one knew WHERE the bridge was supposed to go. During the construction, a lot of questions were raised, since the effort required by the construction was immense.
Despite all the clamoring, the Queen refused to give any clear answers, and the engineers quickly started to use the nickname "Ameway". Eventually Ameway reached deep into the Angel Sea. A common strategy for the construction was to build up in places where the seafloor was close to the surface and create islands and eventually connect them. At the tip of Ameway, a few of those islands were never connected to the main mass. But despite this, it was declared finished.
After all was done, the name "Ameway" had crept up in the documentations, and that was its name in all practicality. Due to popular demand, the Queen reluctantly accepted it as the name of the new landmass.
Most importantly, She was very happy with the finished work, so the subjects were happy as well, though no one still entirely knows why it was built.

The continent now known as Suisonia was originally inhabited by a small indigenous tribe of people known as the Kometomo. Numbering less than 10000 people, they were quickly and brutally slaughtered by Suisei herself in the span of a single day. Now the continent is home to well over a million Hoshiyomi. Suisonia is notable for having the largest body of fresh water on the planet which makes up to 30-40% of the continent, as well as it's relatively flat terrain, it's mountain ranges are quite small compared to most other countries. This makes Suisonia food independent as they have significant arable land to farm on. The north of Suisonia is significantly colder, mostly tundra and the small island at the top is covered by snow year round.

Suisonia has strong diplomatic ties to Kanataland and the Kiryuu Republic, even after the latters amiable exit from the Cover agreement. Just the other day, envoys from the Kiryuu republic were spotted helping set up a new data center in the capital of Star City and Anemachi often brings food supplies to the Kiryuu Republic. Suisonia also owns Aquaron as a vassel state and enjoy friendly relations with Sorana and Mikostan. The official language of Suisonia is Japanese but it is rumored that their diplomats all speak perfect English but pretend not to.

Life is really good in Watamistan. The trade is nice, everyone keeps to their tradition, and the totally non existent stockpile of several chemical weapons loaded on surface to surface missiles is keeping safety. While the more radical tribe originated from Watermelon farmers wished to wage war, they seem satisfied by the arms production of Watamistan being used to arm conflicts around the world.
The capital city is quite advanced, and surrounded by good agricultural areas with many orchards. In terms of freedom, there is not much of it. However, technological advancement are big despite the presence of Sharia~ I mean, Sheepriah law.

Nah only the tip is really far off north. Plus the sheer amount of food aid that Anemachi exports to other countries, especially Cocoland during their Cover sanctions, suggests that Suisonia has food to spare. Not to mention the banquets that Anemachi hosts when Marine, Kanata, Coco, Aqua and many others come over.
