Most of the well known JP vtubers probably like it. Tamaki will stream until she kicks the bucket. Ina probably likes it. Gura wouldn't be doing it if she didn't like it. A bunch of if not all the Holo and Niji IDs probably enjoy it. A number of en indies also seem to be having fun. Even the CN holos got back in the horse.

Then there's Ame who sounds completely burnt out. Mori is doing it because it's her claim to fame, but she's also focusing on IRL non-vtubing projects. Kiara is trying to subtly and not so subtly direct viewers to her IRL content as a hedge. Coco went back to being a full time ethot. Haachama is clearly in the verge of graduating. Aloe went back to being a voice only streamer. A bunch of en chubas are just trying to copy the hololive formula without forgng their own path. It's shit like that which shows a chuba's heart isn't really in it (anymore).

because from what we know, management at Hololive is dogshit and they hound you for every decision you make. Coco leaving and becoming independent again gives her the freedom to do whatever she wants without any deadlines or any restrictions and she gets to keep a bigger cut because there isnt a middleman who isnt actively obstructing her from doing what she's doing anyways. Besides she kept most of her numbers anyways as an indie and it's incredible for her.

It's constantly obvious that Mori only got into this because she wanted to have a bigger platform for her music (and this is just replacing one day-job with another which she needs for her japanese work visa), she does not like playing video games for an audience

both she and her audience would be 100% happier if she spent less time playing games on stream and just focused more of her time and attention on her music. heck, cover corp would like it more too since she'd probably get more views from Japanese viewers that way (who contribute much more akaspa revenue)
