Marine doesn't have the endurance of the bunny.
Her last streams have been highly successful, but most of them have either been a collab or a celebration/reveal of some kind.
Out of her last 10 streams only 2 can be considered solo without any celebration/reveal and those 10 streams are over 24 days.

Not taking anything away from her performance at all, but in the same 24 days Pekora has ~40 streams. Marines high performance comes dues to her lack of streams when comparing to Pekora. The bunny just is just the most consistent in Hololive, Watame might be able to compete in output.

Unless they can bring new fans to the company any future JP waves will see real diminishing returns. Gen 5 debuted when Hololive was still massively growing so a lot of the newer fans gravitated towards them, while for me as a relatively older fan I already had my favourites who I watched so I didn't have the time to get into gokisei. I'm sure a Gen 6 will happen at some point but now the overall growth has slowed down how many fans will watch them over who they already watch?
