If you can afford it Anime Expo is gneuinely cool. Last year Highgai did an IRL tour of the expo on Zen's stream. Just remember if your goal is to actually get into the panel you should be ready to wait several hours earlier. Mouse and Connor's panel was notorious for having to be there like 5-6 hours earlier to have a chance to get in. I don't think Kuro's will be as insane, but better safe than sorry.
