How about this, I've been thinking/daydreaming about this story for about a while now for some reason

Few years from now. Hololive is still relatively thriving. Live concerts are performed, events are held, expansions are done steadily, things are going so well it feels like it will last forever.

However, behind the curtain, Sora felt like her time is over and is now thinking of wraping it up. She saw her friends from the old era leaving the industry one by one. Several Hololive graduations here and there with some of her kouhai leaving due to unfortunate circumstances, other corpos that she knew well because it had her friends folded. Even Siro, the immortal daisenpai, by now had retired after marrying Baacharu, with .LIVE finally closing after barely surviving for years. Sora felt loneliness, slight empty feeling she can't quite point out what or why.

She continues the routine as usual, streaming, performing, collabing. But on the back of her head it grows. Over several days, she had enough of keeping it to herself and then vent to A-chan. A-chan is busy, she's always busy, so Sora tried to not vent much to her until now.
(I genuinely don't know if there's character limits so i'm gonna post this far first, not sure if this is prompt or straight up story but you know where i'm going with this)

A-chan was working on her desk in the office when she suddenly received a call from Sora. It's almost midnight, A-chan is still in the office finishing many works that needs to be done and coordinating the team for the next big event. She barely had any sleep for a while now. It's unfortunate, but she had to decline the call and texted Sora instead that she will be available later.

"I'm sorry Sora, talk to you later"

Sora was in her bed, unable to sleep. She read the message. It was expected, Sora knew how busy A-chan is. But she is still sad, she feel even lonelier by now. She turned off her phone and cover her face with the pillow trying to sleep it off. Slowly her thoughts drifted away and she fell asleep.

It's 6 in the morning. Sora had to wake up and prepare for her radio show. Her alarm buzzing as she tries to turn it off. She thought to herself, maybe a nice warm bath before work would be nice. It's winter after all.

Story it's hard to give much on, since there isn't a lot to go on yet. The premise you've laid out so far is intriguing though. It makes me interested to see how Sora continues her idol journey and what prompts her to take the turn that takes her off that road of glint and glamor and if what she finds at the end of that new path is what she wants.
For technical feedback though, you might want to restructure your opener. It reads like a prompt, which what it might have been originally? It's a real easy fix, just rewording the start to set the stage for the reader. Those few paragraphs have a few minor grammar issues that would likely be fixed with another pass as well.
If you're going to be adding to this now/through the next few days, maybe do a shout out post when you want it looked at it again for review by someone.

“I don’t know, maybe this is enough”, Sora said as she brought keychains of herself and A-chan, in addition to a box of donuts. For some reason, A-chan herself is quite popular despite not being an official talent even to this day.

But then she thought it would be too weird for her to present merch made by YAGOO’s own company for his birthday.

She hesitated for a while, then pocketed it on her purse, swapping it with a generic winter-themed snow glass ball and a watch from store next to the donut one. She then hurried herself to nearby metro station.

Arriving at the studio, she saw Suisei already preparing in the room together with two other girls she doesn’t know personally. She was told by her manager these two are new rising Vsinger in Japan and that they will do an interview with them. She researched about them for the show since last week and watched few clips of them playing games and doing collabs. Managed by a new rising company with a lot of resources, these girls can afford fully-animated MV and had done several partnerships with products. She said to herself watching the two, “New leafs sure are full of energy”, reminiscing to herself.

The show started with Suisei and Sora asking the girls questions about their background and how they started their career in the virtual world. Of course they already knew all of these, they researched it quite thoroughly before, but it’s for the sake of the show that they had to act curious and make it seems like they heard about it for the first time. What was their first song to cover, when they start to boom in popularity, many other things.


“Ah right, you both started your career as a duo sharing one channel. Where that idea came from?” Suisei asked the girls with her typical radio show demeanor.

“It actually came from Asano sisters, we used to listen to them. My sister here especially loved Ruri-nee”, the girls answered cheerfully.

Ruri-nee? A name she have not heard for quite some time, Sora thought. It’s not like she was particularly close with her, but it’s nice to know talents from her times inspired the new stars of the new generation.

Sora just goes through the motion the entire show. The girls talked about their future plans and events, while Sora and Suisei gave them a few tips and advice. The show wrapped up at 8 AM in the morning.

“Good work as always, Sora-chan”, A-chan came with a box full of refrigerated drinks and grabbed one for Sora. She then moved on and gave one each to other staff members still in the room. Sora smiled watching A-chan, hard working and kind as always. As she stares at A-chan briefing and helping everyone in the studio, her mouth softly muttered something.

“Thank you for everything, A-chan”

It was probably subconscious, she did not realize she muttered that. Nobody noticed either as everyone was busy working, dismantling and moving the equipment after the show was done. Sora then decided to take a little walk towards the changing room to rest there as she did not want to bother the rest of the crew.

“I think she already left for the venue. I saw her carrying some documents to a van.”


That answer was disappointing to her. To think about it, her and A-chan spent less time together these days, she thought to herself. Rarely chatting or hang out like they used to. Both of them are busy, so it can’t be helped.

But to Sora, A-chan is her closest friend, surely she should have allocated some of her free time for her sake. Surely she will never ignore her. Surely she will pay more attention to her. Surely, right? There’s no time to be sad, Sora is a busy girl too. After eating her breakfast from nearby konbini, she goes to a meeting room with her manager to talk about next streaming idea and merchandise. The entire day passed like usual, nothing out of the ordinary for her. Noon turned into dusk, which turned into night.

Sora walked back to the metro station. She goes with the motion and fell asleep inside the train.

“Thanks for your hardwork, everyone!”, Baacharu shouted while raising a glass of beer.

The atmosphere was lively, everyone did their part. They have just finished recording the last episode of Virtual-san wa Miteiru. The anime itself might not be well received and certainly was not the best, but they have done it. Regardless of the result, everyone had fun and made connections that are necessary in this industry. Not to mention they were trying to prove Virtual Youtubers are not some kind of niche weirdo thing only.

“Baacharu-san and Peanuts-kun comedic skill trully carried the show”, Aoi says sitting next to Sora.
This was immediately interrupted by Siro who was probably already half-drunk “Don’t give that horsehead too much credit, his head will get even bigger!”

Everyone bursted out in laughter then enjoyed the meal they ordered. They teased eachother on table.

“Buchou, how about we play a game of cards!” Haruto and Ryo shouted to Kaede. Gamebu members are indeed seems to be close friends with eachother.
Sora then added “Why not, sounds fun!”
The lively conversation however slowly turned into incomprehensible background noise and fading away.

Sora almost missed her station. Fortunately she woke up just in time and managed to get off the train and walked home.

As she arrived in her apartment, she checked her phone.

“Sora-chan? Are you alright?”

It’s from A-chan. She forgot to reply to her message back then and they did not had the chance to talk much in the studio. It’s understandable that A-chan seems to be worried.
