Maybe a thread per generation would be too limiting, especially when considering how some generals take a week to hit bump limit while others go through multiple threads a day. I like the idea of new threads marking a change though, especially when taking into consideration the generals that have different editions for each thread. Perhaps new threads are like shifts in the cultural zeitgeist of the nation? So slower threads tend to be more traditional while faster ones are more embracing of change.

I've been thinking about how the restreamers from /brg/ go through a bit of an /asp/otheosis of their own, where by relaying the teachings of the actual gods they end up gaining as much if not more spiritual power as the divinities themselves, and each of them has grand churches from whence the words of the god they have chosen to observe that day are received.

I mentioned previously that the restreamers tend to have more viewers than the chuubas, by a factor of up to ten, but recently the chuubas have begun requesting that the restreamer restream them, adding an aspect of bidirectionality to the transaction. Almost like divinities requesting a religious figure to deign showing them to their followers, the power dynamic is the inverse of what is normal in most generals.
