A bit more of the story-- for the last 5 years I was roommates with a friend. It was fun for a short period, but I hadnt intended to stay in that situation as long as I did. It significantly impacted my ability to think clearly and independently, and leaving wasn't appealing due to financial difficulties. At some point I obtained a job that allowed me to break away from that situation, and though I'm just scraping by, I can finally see how necessary it was for me to do that.

This year I've regained some of that independence. Now I've been chasing all the shit that I put on hold. I'm really happy with how things are progressing, but I'm still getting accustomed to the new lifestyle, so in some spaces I've dropped the ball.
