The glass have pretty low resolutions due to tech limitation so she can look blurry, and I think there’s also viewing angle limitation too. Plus I imagine the equipment is very heavy and difficult to transport (because remember, this is a tour. They need to keep similar quality)

Also Hololive managed to be successful just using screen so maybe they figured that “oh, so just screen might be ok….”, forgetting that Hololive also have bigger screen, and blurred its bezels, and do other things to make it so its not obviously screen.

Like many, I have my issues with current Niji EN (talents, management and the company as a whole), but scenes like this do make me feel pity for them. It's one thing to have 30 people in the audience if you're a small indie hosting their first event, but for someone in one of the largest vtuber agencies on the planet? I can only imagine what the talents think when they see pictures like this and it makes me a bit sad (not too much though, some of them are still horrible people, so there's that)

If you’re talking about the far, far back seats, those were reserved for dreamhack walk ins, so basically normies who had no idea what Hololive was. Everyone on the right and left (the seats that are filled out) were from people who bought standard tickets specifically to see the concert. The people in the centre near the stage (also filled out) are the premium ticket holders. I know this is just one of those bait threads but may as well drop this info in case people wanted to know

No, it was like that from the start. You where not there, and even if you where, you obviously don't know Japanese. At the end of the stream there was a message from the management that was saying something like: 'By the way, this is just some challenge we the management came up with. It has no influence on them getting 3D, they are getting it anyway.'
So basically their management gave them a set of challenges to fulfill before they get their 3D. And this with the subs was just one of them.
