I could see this kind of being okay if it were based on work and not results, like if you stream a certain number of hours or produce X amount of covers/songs you get more support, but streaming is such a volatile environment where sometimes success is not correlated to the amount of effort or talent, very untalented and lazy people can succeed while talented and hardworking people fail.
