Doki - Not likely. I won't speculate as to the CURRENT relationships anyone previously in Niji has with her because I don't know shit, but it is worth pointing out that Nina and Selen were never particularly close. Nina's always been very open about talking about your emotions, and Selen was always very shy about that outside of solo streams so they didn't bond as much as say, Nina and Pomu. There's simply no reason to assume they should have jumped into collabs immediately.
Mint - Also very unlikely. I do think that her joining is an inevitability, but that it won't happen until after the podcast ends late Summer or Autumn and Mint is more solid about her future. I don't see her abandoning streaming, and running the convention circuit with Matara to sample what life is like in VShojo can definitely sway her.
Snuffy - This one's only being pushed by people who don't watch her or VShojo. While Snuffy was VShojo bestie #1 for all of 2021 and 2022, her closeness with the group cooled off during 2023 and she's basically had zero collabs for like a year now. She's not close enough that reasonable people think it's her.
Mika/Kamii - This is the prevailing theory right now. There's not much going against it. The biggest reason they wouldn't sign her is the potential of disaster down the line if she's in a relationship with Kuro, because if things go south there then they can get very messy. Both sides of that coin have stated they're not, however, and Kuro + Matara remain extremely close to Kamii. She also has friends in the group outside of the ex-Nijis, with her being particularly close to Zen, Froot, Geega, and Haruka, along with a couple other /lig/gers she spent a lot of time with during her final weeks at Niji like Katie and rpr. Her biggest fanartist has implied she's definitely coming back, and she is friends with Gunrun on chess.com of all places. She's also strong streamer, speaks Indo, and would likely have a completely new design if she resurfaced since she's shown no signs of resurrecting her PL.
Someone else - While Kamii has the strongest ties at the moment, there remains the possibility it's someone nobody's thinking of yet. VShojo's big thing is that any new members have to be compatible with the current members though, so a complete stranger is more of a stretch than someone expected. It's also more likely to be someone new, than a currently-existing indie given the pattern seen the past like this post said >>73854405

Geega's debut was "envelope goes first" tease, people just ignored that because of all the expectations of Nina joining, and thus got clowned upon (well that and as far as I understand Geega was orbiting/"definitely not joining" for so long it became a meme). Here we have "story first, with (probably) envelope at end". Just like with Kuro, just like with Matara.
So this points to new IP not existing /lig/ger. And of those the only one that seems to be hanging around is Kamii, unless there is someone on JP side I'm unaware of.
Of course they could always break the pattern, but until this happens the current guess is our best one.

Geega was an interesting one because in the past she'd denied being interested in joining VShojo since her aspirations for vtubing aren't limited to the vtubing sphere. She'd talked about wanting to do like board games and stuff and was already part of a very good org called MSM that a lot of vtubers are in. But VShojo doesn't discriminate so her already being in MSM doesn't bother them anyway and she's still actively in MSM while also being in VShojo. That's why anyone saying "Oh, Doki doesn't need VShojo" isn't giving a particularly good argument since different orgs can offer different things. If she's getting pro gamer and e-sports stuff out of her current group, then that's a whole bunch of other stuff that a different org can help fulfill.

Tangent aside, something happened at some point to change her mind. I genuinely believe that Pomu wouldn't have left Nijisanji without having something that would guarantee her future as a streamer in some way, because I highly doubt she would ever leave and try to make it as an indie when it's very clear that her dream job is to be a real idol one day. Both Nijisanji and Vshojo couldn't and won't be able to provide her the stage to become one, so I can only imagine that she got told that she would get a spot in the next gen guaranteed if she left Niji and waited X amount of months for the next EN wave to debut.

Has anyone considered that Doki herself asked him(and others) not to use the Holo brand? I mean it wouldn't be uncharacteristic of her to do so. She is probably waiting for things to cool down and for her new Model to be finished before she thinks she is "good" enough to collab with the Holo brand. Also, I don't think Hololive cares that much about this and is most likely waiting for this thing to blow over. I mean Holos have seen references about Doki and have reacted to them. Doki was also in a JP Apex Tournament with Towa. This doesn't affect Hololive as much.

Haven't you considered the possibility that Doki herself told them(Ex-NijiENs) not to mention her and to even leave her alone? Think about it—Doki hasn’t interacted with another ex-Niji since being terminated. Doki clearly wants to move on with her life and avoid anything related to Nijisanji, with the exception of U-san because U-san is awesome. More importantly, U-san wasn't involved in this situation and is drama-free. Doki is looking to close that chapter of her life. I respect that, so I don't expect her to interact with Ex-Nijis.
