All it did was give me the impression that that part of the fandom was just another bunch of misogynistic yaoi fangirls, and it's never completely gone away from me since... so no, I don't think it's all that strange to think that a lot of fujos are allergic to their favourite boys interacting with girls.

Disclaimer that I'm not against fujos in general, by the way. I just don't like the knkz crowd, and the fact it's vtubers being shipped instead of fully fictional characters make my feelings messier than they might normally be.

Also, maybe it's just because of what parts of the fandom I have or haven't seen, but I'm surprised to hear that listeners have objected to Kanae collabing with Kuzuha. Fuwa is Roa's shishou in Splatoon, which is a cute dynamic. I didn't watch many of their streams so I'm not crazy about the ship, just found their interactions cute especially considering Fuwa's an airhead and Roa is fucking adorable, and he'd always make her laugh.
My favorite stream was the Inunaki tunnel one on Roa's channel, it gave me the same feeling as Shachou coaching Yorumi through scary games. They also played Splatoon together quite a bit, she's crazy about Splatoon.
When Roa started her break and he spoke seriously & calmly about her my heart hurt honestly. Every collab they had was high spirited. He still mentions her, I forget when was the last time but I'm glad she's still in his thoughts.
