It's been way too long since we've had a rhythm game stream from Gura. I've never even heard of Groove Coaster so I'm excited for this one! Hopefully she has the delay issue solved though.

She is so full of energy, my heart is full... Gura in her element is really a sight to see. I had never played rhythm games in my life but ended up buying musedash after seeing her stream it, now I play either musedash, osu, or clonehero literally every fucking day. The way I listen to music has even changed because of how much I play, like I can hear so much more of the intricacies in a song now. Gura has no idea all the strange and wonderful ways she benefits our lives.

>decent keyboard + tablet for osu (yea I had a decent keyboard, but the upgrade to hotswappable was overdue for me anyway)
You would need to "invest" in a "decent" keyboard for any serious vidya playing, though? And tablets aren't that expensive, and have alternative uses. A fake musical instrument has no use but specifically for a music game, and if you're interfacing and buying shit for a real guitar, you can use it for recording actual audio.
>probably gonna end up buying another harddive cause I'm hoarding so many fucking maps
This is like trying to say you need [cost of a hard drive] to "properly" play Skyrim because of the number/size of mods you have. Is this a genuine argument?

>>739044
I havent played a rhythm game in a while, though I love them. I should play them more. Unfortunately if theres too much random colour/movement on a screen my brain kinda blanks out for a sec and it causes an issue in some games (especially the Diva games with some of their backgrounds while following the button prompts). Usually not an issue in normal games but rhythm games tend to cause it more, maybe because I'm trying more to follow small prompts on a screen. I hope groove coaster doesn't do that since I can just focus on the line.

>> No.740112

I know she's promoting the game and all, but I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to play a rhythm game with controller lag. Also the backgrounds are too distracting with how thin some notes look, like the ones you have to tilt the stick to the sides. Is the game on PC?

>>739044
Playing a lot of Muse Dash recently, especially because the newest song pack is so good. Chrome VOX, Cthugha and Comet Coaster are two of my new favorite songs. I really wish Gura could stream the game again, she'd love them.

>> No.740196

And that is why I never bother with fanmade charts or games like Stepmania or OSU, they're not fun, they're just made to please some autist's need of a hundred notes per second on screen.

>Is the game on PC?
I checked steam and an older version is on steam but it doesn't seem to be well received and not well supported. But lag is always kind of an issue in rhythm games, seeing as how they are very timing based. Thats why most of them have options to adjust timings. I'd assume streaming a rhythm game fucks with that badly though. Judging by how gura keeps having to move herself when streaming luigi's mansion, she may be playing these games through her stream software viewer, which would introduce more input lag.
