Petra doesn't seem like she's proud or really wants to be part of the Nijisanji family. When you look at other NijiENs like Selen, Wosemi, Fish, Elira - they all just seem like they're really happy to be part of Nijisanji and that it's their life. Petra's problem is simply that she's a bad streamer. Trust me, I really WANT to like her but it's a pain to go through her streams. She has so many things that tick off my boxes in what I want from a vtuber. She tries to engage with both the EN and JP audiences (I don't mind this because I can understand Japanese) while also providing translations so that EOPs don't get lost. She has a top tier cute design and a voice that fits it well. She has unique tastes (I don't mind her being a yumejoshi) and I respect her for not trying to appease everyone else's pleb tastes by regurgitating Hololive memes and such. These are all aspects I really like about her.

I just get so bored watching her because she doesn't have a good streaming personality. She doesn't carry solo streams because she has no charm. She's not witty and funny like Selen. She doesn't have the comfy feel of a good low-energy VTuber either. It just goes to show that pure streaming skill and the ability to keep an audience listening by simply talking is a very important part of streaming, even more so than tastes in entertainment or language ability or gaming/singing talent. I'd rather tune into Emma's zatsudans instead of Petra's.

She speaks like 30% Japanese in her streams but it feels like a lot to some people. She does it to engage with a Japanese audience because she's REALLY popular with them, and she's also a big fan of Nijisanji JP so it's easier to talk about JP livers with the JOP audience because they'll know more about Nijisanji JP than the EOP audience. Never mind the fact that outside of Japanese-only streams (which are only once a week) she's usually self-translating so that EOPs will understand what she's talking about. Also she joined EN because English is her first language and she doesn't live in Japan. Oliver is fluent at English but he only speaks it 2% of the time, thus it makes sense that he's in JP. Petra speaks English the majority of the time.
