I find the threads the last few days really difficult to accept, what with all the pointless anger and rumor mongering. It's supposed to be an advice thread, not an insular community or political hate group. From a very apolitical standpoint I support diversity, LGBTQ+ and transgender individuals. Transmen are men and transwomen are women. Everybody should be able to live their life to the fullest and when it comes to being a vtuber nothing else matters except how well you can pull off the character. I think it's very concerning that people think transwomen should be excluded from the thread or discord because they're trans. Part of me believes that this is just a troll trying to cause chaos, distrust, and animosity among vtubers.
In the end what matters is that everyone can give advice and help with shared problems and common things everyone experiences. As it applies to vtubers there is no argument that problems faced by transwomen are not problems faced by women.
I know that most people on 4chan have the same view that everyone should just live their life and that those that hate LGBTQ people are in the vast minority. But there is nothing that can be done about getting rid of them once they've raided and latched onto a thread. I just hope that those it impacts understand this too, and that it does not cause hostility between actual vtubers.
