It was a combination of not wanting Nerd discussion on there (they banned even more well-known Pomies who weren't part of their private server for bringing her up even once) and not wanting to deal with the massive negativity that was bound to show up after the whole Selen shit happened.
Most if not all of them planned to start streaming at the time so trying to moderate a server while doing that would be unreasonable and they didn't want to get new mods because they didn't trust anyone else to run shit after what happened to the last two Pomucords.
They spoke on one of Lily's Minecraft streams about how if people wanted a new Pomucord they could just make their own and that really they saw most Pomudachi on fan servers for the other livers and some small indies so in their pov it's fine.

I set it up in UltimMC and all I can say is: don't.
If you WANT to torture yourself, here's as much as I can do to help:
Create a vanilla 1.20.1 instance, add Forge version 47.2.17.
Load the .minecraft folder, download the Curseforge package "Better MC [FORGE] v26" and extract the "overrides" folder in it (NOT as a subfolder; merge the "overrides" folder from the package and the .minecraft folder).
Download this motherlode of mods: https://gofile.io/d/Cum7L2 and unpack it directly into the .minecraft folder; the folders inside are 1:1 to the folders you have there.
Go back to UltimMC, go to the settings tab of the instance and up the maximum memory allocation. By default it's 1024MB but you'll need at least 2048MB if not 3072MB for this set of mods. If you don't do this, MC will crash while trying to load all of them. Since you probably have plenty more RAM than that, once Minecraft actually loads it'll give you the "recommended" amount, so if you want you can close MC and set it to that value (I haven't).

I was a "Honey" back in the day but even then there were a lot of things Nina did that were just annoying. Her "rivalry" with Pomu, her constant numberfagging, her yelling "clip that" during every collab and how much of her personality honestly just felt fake and forced.
