I went into the archives and found the single Nadeshiko thread in it, and it was a stream, two in fact because it's a pretty slow general. The stream, aka content, was talked about and the thread eventually hit bump limit, there was some random twitter shit from some retard posting DMs that lasted for the last 50 or so posts of the thread as a result of some fanart. As for the bunny I couldn't find any, looks like they get deleted on the regular so you could be right about her. She has posted a video or two though. Nade's not posting as much in the threads, and doesn't even post on twitter too much, so it seems she's smarter than a lot of other vtubers /here/.

Alright, let me break it down for you. 4chan humor is brutally honest and derisive. Trying it in public is bad for PR, hurting growth and appeal. Slight pandering while trying to also be a normie tier only makes you look like a flaming hypocrite.

There's also the fact that 4chan is traditionally an incel site. It was primarily targeted at westernmale otaku, lolicons included. I wouldn't be surprised if there's still a furry thread on /b/ at this very moment. The kind of chubas who come from here don't realize that being a woman or one of the guys doesn't mean you're exempt from the same criticism directed at all media and content creators discussed on 4chan.

What 4chan wants and expects from here's are successful, skilled chubas who only make occasional small, distinct dogwhistles to 4chan memes or rrats. If a chubas only appeal is being from here then it's a non starter, as we already interact with and get (You)s from other anons for free whenever we post on 4chan.

Membership in the secret club is just supposed to be the cherry on top of an appeal sundae. If there's nothing in the bowl but said cherry, anons would rather just have a sundae without one. Knowing about vt isn't really important. If anything, being able to learn and grow from criticism is more for the chuba's benefit than our own.
