Yes. Think about how you found out about the vtubers you watch, it was probably not through YouTube itself but through other people recommending them. You can easily search Twitch to find livestreams and the raid feature of Twitch is unparalleled in growth and networking capacity.

YouTube is good for 2 reasons:

1. Better cut of revenues
2. The audience tends to be more mature

But without people actually finding you, these 2 things means nothing.

Not a grill, but 1 on 1 collab with the opposite gender is detrimental for both parties genuinely seeking to provide bfe/gfe. Your viewers don't want to feel like a third wheel especially if you have a gundou kanda chemistry with your collab partner. Large group collab involving opposite gender is alright as long as you keep things professional. If you still want to banter with girls in large collabs like Maimoto, don't try bfe.

Ineda is very interesting.
He's very talented, with both cooking and singing. And he has the rambler skill that clonk and other successful /asp/ies share. The only thing is his jokes are often in poor taste and he seems to be upset easily. I understand he wants to make jokes and be entertaining, but its kind of shooting himself in the foot here, especially when it comes to talking over others in a collab. He's stated that he's inspired by edgey humor like oneyplays and such, but a lot of his edgey humor isnt quite well constructed which leaves it with a sour ring to the ears. he was clearly going for observational humor and banter during the stream, and I think it would have hit a lot more if he had a little more subtlety to things or had talked beforehand about which topics are okay or off limits to joke about. That and his delivery is always very downer-y. Its like he's going for dry but its not quite there yet. more experience will help with shaping that, but also, Ineda, look at stand up comedians, how they deliver edgey jokes, laugh a little more at yourself, study and mimic their speech pattern and delivery. If you're able to make yourself laugh with your own jokes, others will too.
he also stated he was drinking from the beginning which no doubt inhibited his judgement. dude even apologized during stream for the remarks he made.

overall, I think he fucked up, but we should be allowed to. most of us have no background in streaming previously, and I'd like to see ineda hone his skills. some tips for him would be

- stay sober

- try waiting longer than you normally would before talking (while in a collab), since others might want to say/add something to the convo

- challenge yourself to make more jokes without bringing up slurs or edgey topics like rape or racism

- be a little more positive! it comes more naturally the more you try, so dont worry about having to "fake it" or anything. Try bringing up topics that make you happy I.E. talking passionately about some game or band you like. And greeting chat members like "Hey, (name) welcome in!" etc.

All in all, I want to see the best side of Ineda, I want to see him succeed. As I'd like us all to <3

If it is a fairly steady noise you can use noise suppression. Experiment with different algorithms. In OBS the low quality one actually works better for me.

You can also try to lower the specific frequencies that the noise is coming through. If it is a very specific frequency (far away from your normal voice frequencies) it might not even affect how you sound at all. Even just using the 3 band equalizer you might be able to make it considerably less noticeable.

On youtube, you need to schedule all your streams beforehand as well as adding tags, thumbnails, descriptions, etc.

Sign in to the restream service through OBS and then a few panels will pop up, one of them is restream channels, click the three dots on your connected youtube channel and select "Edit Settings" under event you select one of your scheduled streams, select whichever you want to start and click save, don't do anything else.

For twitch, I suggest you edit settings in your stream manager page, the restream plugin will automatically update itself when you make changes to your twitch page.

For chat, I suggest you add custom browser docks, one for youtube livechat and the other for twitch, on youtube you'll have to manually update the URL with the current livestream's chat url, these always change, is not like twitch which only has a single url that never changes.

A lot of it is purely the effect of perceived popularity of the streamer. It cannot be that a popular streamer is a bad streamer, surely the CCV is there for a reason.

For example, professional wine tasters will rate the exact same wine better if they are told that it is more expensive or is rarer. In the same way, a vtuber will be given more leeway if they already have a lot of people watching them.

A popular vtuber cant be boring, they are comfy. They aren't annoying, they are energetic or quirky. They don't have terrible production quality, they are scuff kino. Its good that they use a bad mic, it makes their voice sound iconic. Ect.

A random viewer will pop into a 1 view stream, see something they don't like and immediately leave. If that same stream had 100 CCV they would be far more likely to give the guy another chance or two. Its a self perpetuating problem.
