Now with its recent gen with Runie and Muyu etc Phase seems set to be able to power itself under its own steam, because it's big-enough now to just be kinda known and paid attention to.

I guess you could also chalk up "managed to incorporate some of Tsunderia and Cyberlive into itself" as another reason it's held on, it's more of an amalgam of the combined efforts of the non-Cover/Anycolor/Vshojo corpos. Outside of Pippa there was no one single thing that really-did it I think but cumulatively pieces as a whole have built it up into something. Also nijiEN having the worst rep in the business and becoming hazardous to be associated with with several of its top cute girl chuubas quitting has broken in a path for something to replace it as the big non-Cover corpo, and at least at the moment it's Phase and Vshojo reaping the benefits. Idol could have been one too in theory but it seems its management is nijiEN tier if not worse, actually it's worse if you consider Riro's situation.
