From my experience, the best mindset to approach being an e-celeb wannabe is to not treat it as a job until you actually make it, just treat it as a regular hobby. If you luck out and make it, then you can invest full-time into it knowing you've got some security in the role and can make a living off of it. If you don't, no big loss, you'll lose a little bit of money from getting your model and shit but you didn't invest into it looking to make a profit, you invested because it's a hobby you're interested in, like spending money on paints and a canvas to make art with or something.
