Kanata was the only member I didn't even give a chance to when I first fell down the rabbit hole. I didn't like her loli model with the weird neck thing that covers her face and was shallow enough to ignore her because of it

I regret everything. I love her now and I set a budget for 3 yt channels to support with membership and she became one who earned a spot. The one I didn't even want to watch at first became my favorite.

True but I'm kinda tired of Cover trying to make Hololive something it isn't. There are so many problems that need to be solved and they're making some media project nobody will care for. They have the most ironic example of this in Chilla's Arts games (that most people were reminded of when they watched they trailer) which are unapologetically made for streamers, not gamers, and are watched by more people than they're bought. You're making it sound like the opportunity was created to please Kanata which isn't really the case. That's the key difference. If the thought process was "Kanata aspires to be a voice actor, what can we do to make the best of it?" the result wouldn't be something that looks like it was outsourced to Chilla's Arts. And of course free voice acting lessons are nice, what about free dance and singing lessons for Kanata's idol dream? No?.. Guess that goal wasn't important enough.

Of course the silver lining is that it lines up with what Kanata likes and it most likely gonna be just a few voice lines anyway. If she enjoys that, it's good, I'll be happy to play this for her even if it's just five minutes of her doing gorilla noises. Or rather especially if this is the case. But I'd still rather Cover put effort and money in dozen other things Hololive desperately needs to be good in their own niche.

Her goals don't concern anyone but her until they line up with what Cover wants. And they do do that when they have the capacity to, like Okayu's rainy Live for example. The problem is the capacity isn't really that large and that can be fixed. So my point still stands, instead of doing something nobody asked for maybe it would've been better to direct their attention to the issues they need to fix like quality control or their management's attitude.
