So it looks like Tazumi and Anycolor decides to make another stock change decision and take another huge gamble on it. And so far it is working for them. But that's not the main thing I wanna talk about here

It's pretty clear to see how obsessive the stock is to Anycolor. They will try every options to make their stock price look good. They cut down half of their base, they burned 18 million dollars, and now this. Like, why would they spend a lot of mind power and money on that shit instead of investing for the members ?

Cover stocks are way lower than Anycolor's. Sometimes the gap between them reach 1000. Cover had 2.7 billion yen on their hands and could have used it to pump their stock price like Anycolor did. But instead they used it to buy a 3D studio, resulting in more and better 3D content for Holopro. Niji has a big problem of not having enough room for all of their hundred members to make 3D content, why not spending that 18 million dollars on upgrading their facility or hiring more competent managers ?

Like help me understand anons. Is the stock price that important for a company ?

shareholders are the most important thing to a publicly traded company
businesses are designed to make as much money for the shareholders when they are public
anybody else is secondary

clearly nijis actions did not benefit the shareholders tho kek

bump, I also want an answer. I was shocked to see cover with a lower stock price.

>lower stock price.
Do (You) retards seriously not understand that stock price is meaningless by itself, it depends on how many outstanding shares there are? Companies can do forward or reverse stock splits pretty much whenever.

Because Riku doesn't have a long term vision for the company, he has the same outlook as American CEOs who try to pump the stock value and cut costs right before the quarterly investors call.

It’s not really a surprise. Cover is a company focused on the long run, and Yagoo didn’t offer the whole company up either when it became publicly traded. Yagoo also isn’t willing to drastically reduce spending if it starts to negatively impact the company. This results in a very stable, well run company, but it doesn’t offer exciting returns for day traders, so stock traders generally tend to look elsewhere.
In contrast, Anycolor’s ship is very rickety, it feels like Riku took the advice of shareholders to a breaking point. He barely invested back into the company, which means it’s basically falling apart as we can see with NijiEN. But it offers high returns because everything is done so cheaply, and Riku does everything in his power to make it look promising for investors even though can see that things aren’t going that well. So it’s appealing to most investors in that aspect, but it’s just a matter of how much longer they can keep that business going.

In an interview he said himself this was for him a quick business gain adventure.
He had never taken the industry seriously, hurting so many people in his doing, and allowing a toxicity beyond measure.
Honestly if he would be gone then things would be unironically better. We are all hoping this last plan is a pump and dump so he gets away with billions and someone else fixes Nijisanji.

Yagoo is a lifer, he's not in it for the quick cash grab that Riku sees the industry as.

From an investor's perspective, you wouldn't worry too much even if the price isn't that high because you see that there's reinvestment.
On the other hand, AnyColor has nothing to show for shit and they are full of controversies right now.
I'll ask you now, if you're an investor, where would you put your money? In something that shows reinvestment or in something that is very volatile and is filled to the brim with issues?
If you're a day trader, maybe you'd select Anycolor, but that's too fucking risky. But how about the shareholders who have millions of shares there?

>> No.70705908

>>70705538
Don't quote me on this but a significantly lower share of Cover got offered to the public VS what got offered by Anycolor. Investors demanding growth in the stock price is easier to ignore if the original founder owns 80% as opposed to 40.

Didn't Niji say it's going to stop making model brush ups and outfits voucher/merit based and now have them given out at staff's discretion? aka nepotism only now?

>> No.70706479

>>70705971
It's still merit based in the sense that you must be valuable to the company to get stuff going forward (so have fun seeing Kuzuha get 10 more outfits that he's only going to use once).
The rrat has been floating around for a while that the reason for the blitz of 3D debuts and model updates last year were in preparation for this new system that's being implemented at the start of their next fiscal year.

This is actually what I actually feared when Cover goes public.
Thankfully, looking at it now, I'm confident that as long as Yagoo stay in his position things not gonna go downhill. Remember that one time when investor questioning Yagoo about giving talents too much compensation, comparing it to Cover competitor (salary pay, merch cut, etc.) and he just "yeah, that's not gonna change."

>> No.70706611

>>70705538
Yagoo has ongoing investment and future projects to point to for growth even if the chips are down for a moment. Their investments are fairly diverse (actual physical assets with tangible value, can be used for company production or even rented out to other companies if there is a drought in the industry) They also have a consistent history of steady growth (Niji by comparison is rapidly levelling out to the point where their stock barely grew in 2023)

People who buy Cover stock will do so expecting steady growth over time with dips here and there as the markets fluctuate. People who buy Cover stocks expect rapid growth until they hit market cap and then cannibalise the company for a quick buck. AnyColor was never intended to last a long time, it was just meant to capitalise on a 'fad'.

Nah, if anything, Cover's gonna try and buy back all of their stocks back slowly to return to being private traded.
Like, we know the stock dips after every Investor meeting. If retards on a vietnamese basket weaving board can see that pattern, Cover should be able to as well.
Hopefully they are doing that and not just my rrats to make me feel better about my Oshi company being anywhere near the stock exchange.
