But he didn't. Because he KNOWS how bad shit will really become if he abandons them. Cutting ties with Western audience is unheard of for Japanese companies. By doing that, he will be humiliated even more, not only by 4chan and Xitter, but also by his investors and Japanese competitors, laughing at how incompetent his company is, which will definitely affect the stock value even more

So what's my theory from here ? Well assuming he didn't lie out of his ass in that video to temporarily calm the investors down, there will be a major restructure of the management team. More graduations may happen this month because they are planned before this, but after that, they will try to please the remaining members as much as possible (like greenlighting MVs with Pomu in it) to stop the bleeding. The March / April rrat will be about past experience told by ex-members, but that won't matter much if the company actually committed to change before that happens

In short, the managers are forced to bow down and follow the members' commands no matter what from this moment so that they can rebuild the image of supporting the talents in front of the sisters and the common crowd. The ACCELERATE strategy? That strategy should be thrown in the bin, set on fire and pissed on. Each talent is a brand and they're clearly not being given a chance to develop their brand due to lack of promotion and the cannibilization of support with rapid fire waves. The laundry list notice of terminations? That practice should be ended and not be so hostile. They've done it twice and got shit on. That shit don't fly in the west. That black screen stream? No way that should be allowed to happen again. There's way too many fuckups and it's way too regular. Proper oversight, proper PR team, proper social media team, YIKES!, proper legal team, proper management structure is required. People gotta understand that just because NijiEN can be stabilized, doesn't mean the branch will actually survive on the long run. Unless they fuck up big time AGAIN (and it's more than likely that the main branch will be VERY hands-on for the foreseeable future) it'll sinply just be a quiet and unceremonious fadeout.

The most important thing in business is the opportunity for growth. Stagnation is not a neutral state, it's a very negative one. NijiEN won't collapse overnight and even after this nuclear holocaust they still have a decently sized following that can sustain the branch. But they'd lost basically every opportunity for growth. It'd take the entire restructuring of the branch and imo at least a year of nothing but tangible positive results from said restructuring, to reclaim even just a semblance of the public trust they'd lost. And I don't see Niji being able to pull that off. They'll already be in deep shit when the shareholder meetings come in a few weeks. They absolutely couldn't justify putting substantial resources into /maybe/ making NijiEN able to grow again years down the line, when the situation is already this dire. Not to mention, during the next year more talents will graduate than join, that's for sure.

We can cope and say that they'll actually go through with the restructuring, but the realistic chain of events is that NijiEN will slowly fade out over the course of the next year or so, and once not enough talents are left, or the branch becomes unable to even sustain itself financially, they'll merge it into the main branch and retreat to the domestic and Chinese markets.
