She's too much like Ina. Endearing, but not enough going on. If they were both a little more outgoing like the others I think they would be more popular. Her singing is probably more skillful than Gura, but not as soulful or comfy. She's plays too close to the rules, so it's very accurate, but she doesn't really put her own stamp on the songs the way Gura does.

Exactly this. Gura is a great singer no doubt and extremely talented. But Gura basically only sings slow acoustic karaoke style ballad songs which are completely SOUL bait. I'll admit that when she does these karaoke streams they're easily my favorite of all the karaoke streams. But that doesn't change the fact that these songs are low hanging fruit. Most amateurs vocalists can sing an acoustic ballad and make it sound great aka MUH SOULFUL.

If chumbuds want to make a comparison and scream that Gura is the best, either show Gura doing a song like Inochi with the full instrumental or IRyS doing something like Fly Me to the Moon. Otherwise its a poor argument made from copium because anons can't bear the thought that maybe they don't know shit about live music.
