Started with Obsydia, (they hooked me up with their song) I liked their stupid stream and stopped with ethyria. Only partially like Millie but she was super influenced by Enna and she became was pretty much unwatchable

After Suzuhara Lulu graduated, I got attached to Pomu, then Selen. And now they're both gone.

Was also watching Millie from time to time because I'm a flip. Now I just don't feel like it anymore.

I liked Elira and Pomu. Then when Selen came along i liked her. When ninas gen came along the quality plummeted, then when the male faggots dropped i stopped paying attention to NijiEN branch as a whole. I'd still watch Pomu and Selen now and then. Especially Selens earlier days where she played older stuff solo. Stopped watching Elira after Obsydia debuted, can't really pinpoint the reason why. Skipped almost every single collab or impromptu collab with males for both Selen and Pomu, except Selens apex TSB tourney.
Now both of them are gone and i didn't really give a second thought to NijiEN until this whole fiasco and now wish they'd just burn the entire branch to the ground.
TL;DR Pomu and Selen good. Eliras early days ok.

Same story with me. I actually liked Enna a lot early on but 3 months in I got a bad feeling about her and dropped her completely. Was always funny to see all the drama surrounding her constantly pop up for months on end after that. Dodged a massive bullet.

I thought most of the members in Lazusydia were likable and watched some VODs once in a while. Was rooting for Holo-Niji unity especially cus I liked Pomu. In fact in early 2022, I consumed equal amount of HoloEN and NijiEN.

It got harder and harder to keep track since Iluna so I gradually and subconsciously watched more Holo. Then the Zaion thing, the 2% thing, and "one girl's story" soured my opinion of them. Not sure if I even watched a single Niji stream or VOD in 2023.

started with lazulight, mostly pomu + finana. i kept up with all of their new members, and mostly watched collabs.

i dipped out as soon as zaion was terminated. i immediately fell in love with her design once it was revealed and considered her my oshi. i probably would've tried to find her pl no matter which way her termination went but the character assassination turned me against the company.

i then only followed pomu, enna, reimu and vox but have completely peaced out after 5/2.

I watched Pomu and then Rosemi from day 1. Never really liked the direction the branch was going in, it was rolling downhill straight to hell since May 2021. I stopped paying attention to everyone except my oshi shortly before Luxiem debuted (thanks for saving me time, Ethyria) and completely dropped them after the Zaion shitshow.

Found myself enjoying a lot of their collabs pre-Ethyria. Started withdrawing to Pomu, Rosemi Elira and Selen's solo content post-Luxiem. Out of the new organs since then I checked out Maria, Zaion and Kotoka. Zaion's termination, AR cancellation and Kotoka outing herself as a snake made me quit nijiEN altogether, even if I didn't want to let Pomu/Rosemi/Selen/Elira go. Now I'm glad Pomu and Selen are out, but Elira also being outed as a snake just reduces whatever hope I have left for nijiEN being that Rosemi and Vivi are still innocent in the grand scheme of things.

Been around since the /jp/ days pre/vt/, Started with holoJP, then holoEN when it debuted, then mostly indies but I've watched a bit of every group. Watched Pomu since debut and member'd her because I liked her true otaku and /jp/ tastes, plus she was fun to watch. Lazulight was like a less rigid/formulaic holoEN back then. Also enjoyed her trying out doom, and the lore streams.
Namefagging this post because I was the one who did an occult ritual (golden dawn mostly) against the sand curse in /nijiEN/ back in the days before the thread was overrun by twittersisters.

After Zaion debacle I unsubbed from everyone but Pomu and Selen. I watch mainly /lig/s nowadays, (did another ritual for Shondo, pic related), and some Phase but still checked on Pomu and Selen from time to time until they were gone.

I still trust Pomu because I've been in a similar situation before. A clique led by a certified psychopath girl, controlling a job. The bitch doing things like calling a meeting on a junior's seat and telling him to sit on the floor. Or talking with her friends on the phone about how ugly was a coworker girl who was in front of her. People breaking, etc. All I could do is be kind to the bullied, help them behind the scenes, and be sure to be "convenient" and not directly under the psycho's management so she wouldn't go for me.
Sometimes you cannot directly fix shit and have to use roundabout strategies.

Selen was the only EN Vtuber that i watched until Zaion debut. She still wasnt my oshi but I loved her fire emblem autism, I wanted a chuuba that played JRPG in a competent way (not Elira/Kiara).

After the Zaion situation the whole fanbase changed, or to be more specific, the nijisisters felt that the company was for them, that the company listened to them.I only watched Selen at that time, I had the "support the livers not the company mentality". But I stopped being a dragoon after Selen reached predator in Apex. The sisters attacked her in a way that I have never seen before, the excuse was an "Apex overdose" that any dragoon complained before.
The Niji stans had taken over, the viewers that only watched the girls but never hated the guys at all, after the Zaion situation we lost the attention of the company and we never noticed that.

Was already a Niji fan before so was pretty excited when they announced an EN branch after HoloMyth debuted the year before. Lazulight debuted and I loved them, consider myself a Pomudachi since day 1. From then on I enjoyed NijiEN all the way until even Luxiem. Then slowly it went downhill from there as more problems arose. But the thing that finally made me quit NijiEN was Finana's "educate yourself" incident.

I followed Pomu's PL since her "singing Ikenai Borderline 50 times" stream and was watching nijiEN since day 1.
I powered through lots of bullshit to keep watching Pomu. The "Luca being in every stream" arc was annoying as fuck and I took a break from nijiEN to watch small corpos. I came back later but only to Pomu when things calmed down.
I left definitely on the start of 2023, Zaion's termination and Pomu going through 3 breaks/trips to japan in a short time made it easy to just stop.

Unironically it was Finana when she debuted after her failed attempt, that’s when I got into Niji then the next gen came, then the next, Luxiem arrived and I started watching them more than Finana but I remember exactly on White day of 2022. I just lost interest because of the whole Luxiem fanbase, it was just too cancerous and I was the targeted audience

If there really is a favoured group and she was part of it, I don't think that would be the case. I started getting into them around the time Lazulight debuted. I don’t even remember what got me into them, but I was happy to watch them when it was just Lazusydia. It was much simpler, more enjoyable times.
I stopped watching around 2023 in the wake of the 2% leaks. I was already incredibly frustrated at looking at Luxiem’s preferential treatment throughout 2022, like what they did with the Luxiem Channel, overshadowing Lazulight’s 1 year anniversary with a bullshit “Luxiem half year anniversary”, PuchiLuxiem instead of Puchisanji, and how Luca got off scotfree for breaking the Minecraft server while the female talents literally defended him. And while unrelated, Uki invading the Pufferfeesh collab ruined NijiEN a lot for me too. That was the warning sign that I wouldn’t even be able to enjoy the female talents I liked without some uncharismatic eboy showing up.
But seeing how they terminated Zaion and how the livers had terrible merch splits just made it extremely hard to support the company. And with how they terminated Selen and how Elira, Vox, and Ike straight up threw her under the bus turned the situation from “I’m moving on” to “Wow, actually fuck these people”.

What really sucks is that now you can’t help but re-evaluate the entire time you spent with the branch. Now you want to stop and re-examine every single encounter to see if the red flags were always there, if Elira ever showed warning signs, when people started to change, and if the good times were ever genuine.

I only watched Pomu and the occasional indie, but ever since Pomu graduated I haven't watched a single chuuba besides Doki's return stream because I wanted to hear her response. I don't even watch clips. I haven't left /vt/ yet because of the whole Selen drama. Once that dies down I'll leave for good.

I loved Pomu from her very first stream and it stayed that way until the start of her Metal Gear brainrot. I switched to Rosemi after that because she makes me feel like a dad watching his cute autistic daughter play, but I've found myself watching her less over time and her proximity to the epicenter of the blast has me concerned. Now I really just watch my Auntie Kunai, who I really love a lot. It's already sad that she's the runt of the entire branch, but now her growth has been permanently stunted on top of that by what's happening. I don't think she'll be here for very long so I'm just trying to treasure the time I get with her.

A lot of this for me too. Early Lazusydia was fun and like a little more deranged holo lite. When the guys came in and they got unexpected success, it felt like management went all in on them and was shoehorning them into everything. I don't thin of myself as a unicorn but it took a lot of the fun out when they were just kind of fucking things up or showing up where they probably shouldn't have if they had more restraint. My favourite streams are still all-girl ones like drunk phasmo or lazu lunch lady.

Early NijiEN was so good. Sad to see how things turned out. It used to be so much fun, I remember watching Pomu slowly learn Minecraft and Pomuske dying after being trapped under the boat and she cried after. A couple more weeks and I was like "oh fuck I think she's my oshi"
A status that she holds to this day.
I watched a few others on and off, but ultimately only Pomu and Rosemi mattered, with Pomu being orders of magnitude ahead of everyone else, niji, holo, vshojo, phase, indie....you name it.

I quit when pomu left. Rosemi is cool but not worth supporting the company if they pushed Pomu away.

lazulight and obysdia got me into it. collab chemistry was way better than whatever the fuck myth was at the time.
no annoying expectations around males too. not saying i wanted myth to collab with males, but having every little mistake or even PL recordings cause a massive blowup and raiding of whoever fucked up made me anxious, because it stressed out the talent.

thought erythrias debuts were shit, especially nina and overall i was starting to get burned out on vtubing as as whole, which was my fault because i was watching way too many streams and /vt/ wasn't as fun to me as /jp/hlgg/.
would occasionally catch a pomu or selen stream after that, but wasn't deep into the community anymore.

I watched niji since they started, and due to irl problems I basically stopped actively watching chuubas as a whole, last oshi is melissa. After her graduation I pretty much just put my remaining oshi's zatsudan into the watch later list and use them as a BGM when I am doing stuff.
I will say it, I am ESL but I consider my english better than japanese, it's not even close. So I was pretty happy to see EN launching.
Lazudyia was pretty fucking cool, but around Ethyria I feel overwhelmed just like JP did at one point, Lazulight to Ethyria only took 5 months.
In a one year span 5 groups debuted. Again, it is overwhelming so I pretty much just stopped caring from there. It almost feels like 2019 niji JP again, talents barely settle down to start growing and another group debuts. I just can't be bothered to follow every single one.
I came back for vivi very recently but now the branch is just a sinking yacht, fuck me I guess.

Started with Lazusydia and greatly enjoyed what I could watch in EU times, gradually focusing on Pomu and Selen. The problem was when I got a job in 2022 I couldn't really watch much anymore and started drifting away from Niji and Holo in favour of small corpos and Indies. It pretty much stayed this way until the Pomu graduation and Selen termination.

The only NijiEN I can watch at a good time at this point is Kunai; I doubt she was involved in the shitshow at Niji in any capacity, however supporting NijiEN at this point feels wrong.

I still kept watching Pomu and sometimes Selen (her schedule is bad as fuck for me), but no one else. Thank god they got out.

I have been a homocollab hater and nijiEN hater in general since I started watching vtubers. But when Vivi debuted I watched and adored her enough that I can put up with a once in a blue moon collab. I was looking for an alternative. At the point when Lazulight debuted I thought Myth wasn’t all that interesting so I was really looking forward to what Nijisanji had to offer. Out of the 3 I put my chips on Finana. Even though she never got her stream up to debut. The early months of Lazulight were so much fun and I’m sad it didn’t get to last long.
As the branch got bigger I tried to get into everyone, but people like Petra just weren’t for me. Then Luxiem came and I was happy for the female fans that finally got male Vtubers, but little did I know at that point that the whole world would soon revolve around then.
At the end of the day I stuck with the girls before Luxiem and just watched them. The tiny group of girls I watched at the beginning adapted and changed with the landscape of the ever growing company.

Used to watch Rosemi, started a little after her first bday which happened like a month into the gig. Picked up Pomu a little after too. I dropped Rosemi because despite being cute, she had imposter syndrome way too early on, talked about being afraid of "guy humor" and unfortunately became one of the many girls that was a Luca cocksleeve, but mostly because of how she oversold quitting her wagie internship. She went on a collab spree, her unpreparedness for streams didn't change, she stopped talking to us less about her and her family, she became more secretive with what she did offstream for no good reason (not saying I wanna know every time she pees, but if she traveled and was with other livers we'd know through them, not her) and she kinda lost passion for streaming. Rarely did more creative streams like Space Cop, the game show or RNL. Rarely does guerillas now. Plus her game choice is terrible.

Pomu I watched till she graduated. She was my oshi. I will admit I did at times watch her a little less because despite appreciating Kiara, I could never really go full KFP, Council/Promise is nice but none of them ever got me hooked, but man I love Kaela. Such a cute autist. And then Biboo debuted and Biboo is so cute. I couldn't help myself and watched Pomu a little less, but regardless I stuck it out with her and think she is hands down the best EN vtuber ever. The passion, the work ethic, the personality. One of a kind.

Started with Lazulight, watching all 3.
Started watching only Pomu after Obsydia, because having that many options made me pick one.
Gradually watched less and less Pomu (and therefore Nijisanji) until I stopped completely mid 2023, because I got tired of Pomu's simp pandering.
Didn't bother trying to watch anyone else, because nijien in general feels like a bunch of normalfags having a party, rather than actual vtubers (that includes Pomu, but I was already used to watching her by the time it became like that).

I seriously got into watching NijiEN one month after Ethyria debuted, because of Enna's One Hand Clapping stream, where she sang Lazulight and Obsydia's songs.
I don't usually appreciate singing that much, but the contrast between her amazing singing voice and her nasty-ass speaking voice blew me away
and the way she sang and played around with those songs gave me a deeper appreciation of them than I would've had just listening to them

Millie's debut was crazy insane and hit all of my weaknesses, and her semi-unaware goofball character brightened every collab I watched

Nina had bits of East-European in her that were very refreshing, but it always feels like she's holding back her true self to fit in.

over time I've enjoyed the Selen daughter experience through her F.E.A.R and Alice: Madness in Wonderland streams (don't much care for Apex and other competitive games)

I can't even pinpoint why I like Pomu, she just grew on me like a tumor that won't go away, she's the only vtuber I've bought merch for. I think that makes her my oshi...

I didn't watch vtubers at all until Council debuted. Then I found out about Nijisanji because of Ethryia. Selen, Pomu and Nina ended up being my favorites, but I watched a little bit of everyone, especially in collabs.
When Nina graduated I started to feel like I didn't want to watch vtubers anymore. I didn't completely stop, but I was watching much less, mostly the occasional Pomu or Selen stream. And with Pomu's graduation and Selen's termination I was completely done with Nijisanji, even if it hadn't been this giant shitshow.
I think I'll still watch Doki, though. At least for a little while.

Obsydia, their group dynamic was good when they first started, but then they literally never collabed together after the beginning and i stopped. Wasnt interested in either one of them individually, maybe Rosemi, but she constantly held herself back and never realized her full potential.
Came back to Luxiem (yes unironically) because of the novelty of male chuubas and the potentials of "brotubing" that never came to be, then they started their fujo chink baiting arc (all except shu who was just playing valorant 24/7 like an autist), and my interest fell off.
The thing that finally just made me stop watching all together was the Zaion shit, and I've been laughing at them ever since.

I originally watched NijiJP translated clips back in 2019 or so. Didn't really interact with the community at all and didn't even realize they were launching an EN branch. Later on, around the time Ethyria debuted I started to see clips from NijiEN and got hooked from then.
I stopped watching them for a time after the AR Live cancellation. I thought there was a very obvious mismanagement going on since Yugo's termination and at that point it seemed really clear that it was starting to affect the livers. When TTT debuted I started watching again for a couple of months, but after the Selen situation it was very clear that the ship was on fire.

My interest in Niji started and died with Zaion. I'm a dedicated FE fan so Zaions playthrough of engage was great since I could tell she was an experienced player who had gone through the older games before. Now I've left for Sayu and couldn't be happier as she gains a larger active viewerbase than the Nijien Leftovers that bettayed her.

I watched them more than Hololive at the start. I liked Pomu, Rosemi and the different jank horror game collabs. I found Luxiem and the fans it brought a turn off. Then between Finana going full retarded, and some of the newer gens really kind of catering to a certain demographic made watching any Nijisanji leave a bad taste in my mouth. The past year of Kurosanji yabs solidified the feelings.

I watched NijiEN from its creation (the first NijiEN and the second NijiEN) to fill the dead hours because they belonged to the same company as my kamioshi. I dropped all of Nijisanji when they started abandoning ship in 2022 and as a viewer found refuge elsewhere.

I only ever watched Selen and I quit because I became parasocially obsessed with her and began to fantasize of her as my girlfriend while I worked my minimum wage manual labor job. I knew it wasn’t healthy and that there was no light at the end of that tunnel. I ended up moving on to Mori and had the same thing happen and had a mental breakdown when the Condom money thing happened. I became a huge vtuber anti and stopped watching vtuber content for like a year, a year and a half. I only recently got back into them and it’s because I got into Fauna and then Advent ended up being awesome, and now I’m over my vtuber induced depression and can even watch Mori and everyone else in hololive again.

P.S. I still hate the fucking whores in VShojo, Phase, Niji, and all Liggers. Doki is cool though.

I really liked elira, enna, and selen's humor and overall talking style. They were all interesting and fun, but I just sorta stopped paying attention over time for one reason or another. Elira got way too into games I didn't give a shit about, Enna I just kinda had a backlog I never got to, and Selen went too hard on FPS games that I didn't care about and filtered me with that + I had a falling out with some dragoon friends way back. Vtubers are pretty fake and the way /vt/ is it ended up a reddit hivemind where instead of criticizing the most popular girls for being lazy whores, you have a never-ending train of simps saying "noo my idol is a perfect woman she's just sad". Plus got shadbanned from yt chat so i stopped getting free wosebud memberships. Watched a few other nijis like finana. Shes just too stupid so stopped. Watched selen but her laughing constiantly got annoying, I still like her over all. I even watched yugo before he/she came out as a f2m or something. Watched enna because she can be funny sometimes. Anyway i dropped all of niji after the selen debacle. Plus all the new waves were lame to me since after discovering nijimanagement doesnt let them do anything.
