At the moment it's just two private parties engaging with each other over a contract dispute in private, they only make public what they want to make public. In fact if they come to a settlement it almost always involves an NDA and neither party discuss anything.
However, if it gets to the point where there is a civil trial because they start suing each other (maybe) or even a criminal trial (doubt) then it goes to court and EVERYTHING becomes public record. This is not in the interest of either party because the vtubers don't want their identities public and corpo doesn't want their dirty laundry aired in the discovery phase.
