You're leaving out the detail that the "some guy" bragged about pulling the same stunt with other aspiring vtubers. He would insinuate he was providing support equipment from their agency which they'd pay back after debut and only later demanded that payment in sex.
He only made it public because she refused to fuck him, the implication being there were supposedly "dozens" of other girls out there he did this to which put out to buy his silence.
