An avatar can let a streamer relax and perform and be entertaining and funny without having to worry about getting 4k camera ready makeup on every single time, and without constant comments about how their dressed or any movement or action they take. Text to speech and eventually ai generated speech will let them stream with less mental and physical strain and burnout too. It's basically a win for everyone involved and it's going to become the norm across the industry before long.

No, and it's especially bad in collabs. The few collabs I've watched with Zen, I don't even realize they're there for the majority of the stream. As soon as people start talking over each other, the tts voice gets buried completely.
