Why are Nijifags so surprised by the fact that she's able to set up stores and merch already? And I don't just mean leaving Niji EN, the branch is already in its death throes and will be dissolved before the end of the year. Holo gives every member 3d after they've been debuted for a while, regardless of size. They are more or less obligated to because they are supposed to be part of an idol group and will perform on stage together. They also integrated the oversees branches alongside the Jp's so they get them too, if somewhat delayed. Just looked and Pomu had her 3d debut before Kiara's showcase, huh.. Also I think the idea is even if a particular chuba isn't popular or even profitable individually, they still contribute to the greater whole.

I can't know exactly what Niji's policy is but it seems to be at least partially based on performance. Since they are structured more as a association/agency of loosely related talents rather than a cohesive performance group, they don't have the same necessities or expectations; not every liver is expected to sing and dance so 3D isn't mandatory. Furthermore the oversees branches are treated as nearly separated entities, and the only 'integration' they do is getting disbanded, absorbed, and ignored.

Niji used to have a "reach 100k subs to be put on the waiting list for 3D" policy before(as did hololive back in the day but they ditched it because all their talents would hit it before even debuting)

Niji also changed their policy. i only read it on here so it might be a flawed explanation but from what i remember its "taking part in official Niji promotions and doing other things that please management gives you points that you can exchange for things like a 3D debut"
