Do you think recent events have made any HoloEN's do victory laps in their head over the fact that they managed to "get in".

Yes, Nerissa. She seems like the kind of girl who'd join Niji had Holo rejected her. She's probably really happy rn.

>She's probably really happy rn
I'm sure she feels great relying on her family to be entertaining when 98% of the time she has to be on her own.

Not EN but you know Luna definitely isn't regretting her decision right now.

absolutely. Just put yourself in their shoes. Every streamer wants success and fame. Even if they say "I'm just doing this for fun", it's only a mere partial truth. In their heads they fantasize about hitting it big and getting tens of thousands of fans. Every Holo girl views themselves as a member of an elite group and the cream of the crop. Even when they're kind and polite to other vtubers, in their heads they are actually reveling in their sense of superiority and imagining themselves as the virtuous patrician who is gracious enough to give a lesser woman the time of day. Every Holofest, they are rewinding their performances over and over again in delight as they see a packed auditorium of fans shout their endless praises. At the top where the wealthiest girls lie, they are living the high life of luxury flaunting expensive clothing and accessories in gourmet restaurants where they picture themselves as amongst the nobility of society.

Sometimes you need these kind of chuuba with 0 personality to make your other chuuba looks interesting.

It's similar when you see those poor ass hatians eating dirt cookies and you're like, damn. I could have been born into that.

it is wild how much she relies on her sisters to carry, you would think they are the streamer at some points

>Mumei took a month long break to take care of Selen
>Altare and Axel also were supportive of her
No, I think HoloENs were genuinely worried about her, because they're not from a parasitic company full of bloodthirsty crones, like NijiEN.

Maybe not mental victory laps, but more like a sigh of relief because they dodged a bullet.

Not really how I expected it to go.

>Mumei took several months off to play Apex with Selen
Fixed that for you. She isn't qualified to deal with suicidal people, she can barely function independently as it is. Stop acting like she's saved Selen's life, concern does not equate capacity.

Mumei should at least teabag selen irl

I'm happy that Hololive has a much stricter talent scouting process and doesn't just let a bunch of borderline normies with a love of highschool tier drama into the company

sometimes all it takes to save someone is to be a good friend, to let them know that the world isn't against them and there's light at the end of the tunnel. camaraderie is one of humanities greatest traits and shouldn't be dismissed so easily

Dramafags stop trying to involve holos into your nonsense. If you would watch even one stream you’d know it was hololive or nothing for literally every member but one. Even then that one wouldn’t join any corpo if she failed. The best you’d get is bouncing around small corpos. Stop cluttering the catalog

>Every streamer wants success and fame.
Yes and No. Hololive talents have little creative input on their design so they don't necessarily take pride in why they become famous. Flare, Ina, and Kronii didn't want fans to like them for their skimpy outfits or their sexualized models. The blatant sexualization was already becoming an issue with JP and ID but was certainly the reason for the many "health" breaks in HoloEN. It was noticeable how they weren't optimistic for 2024 until that December meeting so contract renewals must have gotten heated.

Nerissa's family managed to provide content, than none of the other Holomembers were able to do
