Managers are a necessary evil. It's part of the corporate formula and if done right it works, but no one if perfect so mistakes will be made. Especially since a lot of these companies are trailblazing the industry and taking pretty wild international steps. I would imagine it is hard to wrangle chubas from overseas, let along making sure their overseas managers are doing their jobs correctly. Add in cultural differences and i imagine it might be difficult.

Keeping the balance between the corps, their managers and the talents is essential and each corp has a different philosophy with it's own pros and cons. But if a manager goes bad or takes advantage it could cause issues. Look at the Omega situation if that was true, and what is currently happening with niji talents fleeing like it is the titanic.

It’s weird, I think the actual roster of vshojo is quite good, but after the Nux situation(and other smaller situations) I feel that the only reason Vshojo members haven’t entirely nosedived their reputation is because thankfully very few of them are retarded enough to do it. Theres seemingly no measures in place to restrict the talents when it comes to shitty behaviour, so if Vshojo just decided to hop on any drama the company will not stop them, which makes the whole Niji poaching business kinda worry me. Yeah Indie rigging is serviceable and sometimes even excellent, not sure what that guy is on about. I would put niji ahead slightly in terms of design, but holo for rigging. They’re both bad, don’t get me wrong, nevermind the limited rom, limited layers, or stiff rigs but I’ve seen so many niji models specifically failing with face tracking. I watched the Victoria shield girl for 10mins when she was on twitch and the mouth tracking is just fully broken.
