Relinking my post about a possible unifying thread theme. If we wanted to have something simpler than just listing a bunch of individual names, arguably we could call it HoloGyaru or something like that, and it would feel pretty inclusive of both all the new members and all the old members? Looking for feedback from others though, my personal oshi is the easiest case, and my takes on why Aki, Matsuri, and Roboco fit are pretty surface level (though some robosas last thread said it kind of works for her, and that was the one that felt the shakiest to me.)

Biggest issue that just occurred to me is how we would abbreviate it, /hgg/ is a no go for obvious reasons, /gyaru/ would lose the hololive aspect, and /hgyaru/ would certainly imply some implications (maybe not entirely baseless implications, in many cases, but still.) I guess just /hologyaru/? Guess that's something we can worry about more if people actually agree that it's a fitting way to go.

I've tried thinking of a theme but my best conclusion was to OKFAMS it. Except their first names give you one vowel to work with and the best I could think of was CRRAMM ("cram")

Simpler designs work well because it's easier to focus on the whole thing when there aren't small details sticking out all over. This is amplified by the fact that Matsuri's outfits also show off plenty of skin, especially her legs and shoulders, which lets you focus on her slender figure. Here's something I do when I save an image too big. Upload it to https://imagecompressor.com/ or a similar website and download the result. It will keep the same image quality, but reduce a lot of bloat. Nobody will ever notice it's compressed compared to saving a scuffed version.

For example, look at pic related. It looks great. It WAS 7.7MB when I saved it, but when I did the conversion, it looks the same and is less than 1MB

I don't have much league knowledge and haven't been watching much, but you can generally judge how well a player is doing by their level. For her team, it's the 16-12-17 on the side of their portraits, and the two other players (including Aki who was also level 12) got KO's. Level 12 at the end of the game isn't too good to be honest, but it could be worse

Just from this game Nose and Aki are the 2 new players on her team and Akarin and Albio are the new players on the other team.
So no one with the same role to directly compare - Aki and Akarin are both using fixed camera and don't seem to be scouting beyond their current screen so they both end up looking a bit lost / not joining up with the team. Nose and Albio seem better at reading the map and deciding where they need to be.
Hopefully the experienced people for AKi's team will be talkative like Mother-san this game and just micro-manage where the new players need to be.

In the face of other newcomers I think she'll be fine. She understands trying to hang back and not getting too close to the enemy while also responding well to her team's plays so I certainly don't believe Aki will be a liability. Her individual play needs some improvement though, mainly from understanding her champion. There have been multiple moments watching her learn Vel'koz (The tentacle eyeball monster) that I wish I could have told her to user her abilities in the opposite order

It makes me wonder why we never did this to begin with. I already know the answer, with Mel included, this thread could sustain itself. And without her, only then did anons realize that generals are not static and can evolve to add more girls. But fuck man, it's not like this thread always had Mel, Aki, and Choco together, so it's a shame we only added more when one left. Roboco could have used this merge the most back then with years of no consistent place, and Ririka has had months with no consistent place. Matsuri's need for a faster place was more recent, so we couldn't have done much about it until now, but still.

Adding others to the thread was brought up in their respective threads. The Roboco thread wanted to merge for a while but never asked. There were also some in the Roboco thread that didn't want to because they weren't sure if it made sense. They thought about making an Anpontan thread (before Subachocoluna got big), but the Luna thread said no. The Matsuri thread was against it when some there brought up merging a while ago. The idea of a Gen 1 thread was also brought up but Fubuki had her own thread and was part of three different ones. Even now it looks like there's some who don't like the idea. It's sad that the Regloss threads lasted about a month before they completely died.

If it helps to reassure you there's no ulterior motive, I'm probably one of the biggest Ririkafags here, but I wasn't the one that first brought up the possibility of including her here that you mentioned, and I've tried not to push the idea of her inclusion, just provide information when someone else brought it up.
