I still haven't come down from the high of Ruze's karaoke last night. I was looking forward to it the moment it was on the schedule, and it was even better than I hoped. The fun song choices and the parodies were great. He's already showing improvement, and he challenged a song that he said in the previous karaoke he wasn't ready to try. Really thought we'd have to wait far longer to get another karaoke and I'm glad that wasn't the case.

And then we finally got confirmation on 3D shiny spicy too. Though I'll be honest, it was so heavily implied and teased that the only surprise was that it hadn't taken another week to announce. But still great to finally have that out in the open, and the boys are so excited. It'll be wild to see them singing and moving around in full 3D for their showcases.

Last night was such a blessed night that even Shinri's ISP decided to play along and let him stream. It was a good night.

As for tacky, fans who have shelves of nuis or itabags covered in charms and buttons aren't likely to be the kinds of fans concerned with "tacky". Not every fan will want a daki obviously, but it's a luxury merch for diehard fans who want something bigger.

I think it depends on the talents input as well, and whether they’d be comfortable with that. There’s a reason why mousepads/dakimakuras would usually pop up as custom birthday/3D merch for the girls, even then some of them had to fight with branding depending on whether it fit their “image” or not.
