In hindsight the whole event felt like one big bluff, like Anycolor somehow caught wind that tons of companies and even big indies were working on 3D events that year, and they quickly rushed this whole thing together in the hopes that their competition would either be intimidated or that it would convince tons of prospects to sign up for NijiEN.
But they only had 3 usable 3D models, one of which had clipping issues that were never really fixed by the time Pomu graduated IIRC. And they tried to advertise the fact that they would have 19 talents across 5 waves in this one show and that it would be out earlier than everyone else. The balls on Anycolor to even think they could pull it off, fucking incredible.

It really is a tragic reflection of how Anycolor viewed the branch. It made a shit ton of money, it was popular at one point, and they just flat out let it die due to negligence, or possibly even JP autism on how a bunch of baka gaijins had more viewers than their new talents at one point.
