I have no regrets. I stopped watching her regularly after MGS4 as that was roughly around the time I really started to hate Nijisanji.
Nijisanji evidentially is a massive, MASSIVE debuff for her. Cancelling/delaying projects, perms, drama and 2%.
I am sad that things turned out this way but it's time for her to move on. She'll be back anyway.

I'd imagine the playbook for a decently-run company will be:
>Announcement and expression of condolences after consultation with the deceased's family
>Memorial stream where close talents to the deceased remember them
>Break period of mourning for the entire company (or maybe just that specific branch?)
>Resumption of normal activities, with extra time for any talent that needs it
It'll be a very sensitive and trying moment when it first happens but I think it'll be OK if handled conscientiously.
