I would like to attempt a serious answer. My answer would be "Yes."
I knew of Nijisanji before NijiEN, but there were very few clips. I was excited when Lazulight debuted, and I gave them a shot. Unfortunately, none of them ever quite clicked with me. Obsydia was the same. In fact, let me cut to the chase: I watched all the debuts through half of Iluna, yes, the guys too. I liked Nina, and that was it. The Iluna debuts broke me - Rosemi 2.0 was okay, the rest were bad. I bailed partway through Aia's debut, not even getting to her SJW declaration, but because of the awfulness of the debuts before hers, the aggressively awful opening animation and her starting to spew bugspeak. I didn't bother with any further debuts, and then the Zaion incident happened.
In short, Pomu led the charge. Sadly, her efforts were wasted. She wasn't to blame. I wish her success, something I just can't say about many of her former coworkers.
