Trying to remember various Rissa details from Kiara's stream
She really wanted to buy some austrian shoes. Something about the quality vs American shoes. Was comparing a lot of things to their American counterparts. Kept reading all the german signs. Liked a lot of snacks, was surprised by fruity whey drinks. Kiara is thinking of sending her an austrian snackbox since her luggage was full when she left. Takes hydration really seriously, she drank so much water it inspired Kiara. Found it interesting she can sleep with an eye mask and even with her head fully covered. Yeah, I think they do, and I don't know if you're really an anon, another vtuber, or even Nerissa herself, but lets explain this clearly. In that context Nerissa was a fresh off the page fan, not some longtime friend. A person who got the job, but before then was one of the masses. Kiara was very specific saying that it was her being a fan and being amongst them that was special, because that was what she wanted. Sure, their bond grew stronger afterward talking as peers, but she says she was saved just from that.

I've had close friends for decades, but I still value the love people would give to me. If someone said they felt that I saved that, I would take it to heart, if they said what I made touched them, I'd feel that even one person, as insignificant as they may be, would be enough to say things were worth doing. I dunno, I feel maybe Internet culture has made people feel like others are just vapid words on a page and not actual people, so maybe celebs, even ecelebs, can't feel much from that. But I've gotten wordy with this, hopefully we don't all get downer here. I think Nerissa at the very least, is a down to earth fan herself. I hope there never comes a day she doesn't feel appreciated.

Thats the big point, its perspective. How many would love to do just that but they just aren't in the same profession? Who'd love to gush all day and say, "you're appreciated" "I love you" a thousand times, a million times, as many times as the one they liked wanted to hear it. Who work and slave, like everyone else, day after day. They aren't a mob, they're people, but perspective makes one think them different. Its perspective too that had her feel less desired as well.

Its a balancing act of the heart people do, if the masses are just masses, what they say or do won't affect me much, but if it doesn't affect me, then I can't feel as accomplished. So if I had a focal point for that validation, on a smaller, manageable scale, then it would be better. Thus, if a work colleague was also a former fan, then its manageable and focused.
