It's been years since I was a Holofag, but I do remember watching them talking about them paying for their own concerts, MVs, music, etc. The company would be footing the bill for those paid cinderella switch (i think that is what it was called) concerts, but not sure if any others. It feels more worth it to foot your bills in Holo than in Niji, but ultimately they are paying more so to push the brand forward since they don't own the IP, so in that sense it is a gyp.

I was thinking more that they get money taken from them in the form of their on stream donos and merch cuts and while I know they also get a monthly stipend, and Holo / Cover has resources they can utilize like the 3D studios and such, still seems like a gyp to not be at least partially paid for. Like you said, they're making content using company assets and IPs but the company doesn't foot the bill, but the company can nix the idea if they see fit?

No secret I care more about talents than corpos, but VShojo's model is still superior for that ideal than the others. Jesus.

Actually what a weird timeline of events and explains the stress:
>Clearly everything was ready or was being worked on for the Student Outfit (merch, ending, starting screen, assets)
>Then something might have happened in the background, and it pushed her to rush down a design, or one that she already had in the pipeline THAT had to be rushed down (explaining the rigging) and ONE single merch item (the blanket doesn't even include her), and the fact that it didn't even had name or appears elsewhere.
>Nazuna's departure must have been expected but not the time when it was, as the background of the classroom includes her mascot, and the Tofu modpack. Like everyone knew it was going to happened, but not when (although there's plushies things, but the picture Mouse posted it was different from the final product). While this doesn't necessarily mean anything to Mouse, it was needed to change a lot just because of it to Stallin her.

There were two big barriers to collab content mouse used to have.
-Her pc sucked
-Vshojo unity was way weaker. She used to only really collab with aethel/nyan and connor barring a few vshojo events

With these issues no longer a problem and coupled with alot of stress and medical issues she has been going through in the past few months it's obvious why she has focused on collab content. Not to mention games she really enjoys right now (minecraft, lc, fortnite, gta v rp) are all collab focused. I bet she will eventually calm down on the collab content but she will never go back to the 80-90 % solo content she used to do. Personally i am fine with the split right now. i wouldnt mind more solo but we still get plenty.

A lot of people do forget that Mouse did jump and dropped her plans if Sykkuno invited her on the fly, now that there's easy access to collab with both VShojo, make new friends in GTARP (which was previously invited) and qsmp, she does them. She literally did solo, react and chatting because there was not a lot to do other than that lmao. I'm glad she streams them tho, back when I watched her more, it was an issue that she would spend a lot of time on for example, Bounce and wouldn't stream because the server was too heavy

Not sure if the concerts or other projects they put their own money into are getting partially paid for or not or how using company resources factors in or if they even had the company resources they do now when I watched them (pre July 2021). They probably let them foot the bill because the alternative is a situation where they get frustrated that they can't do projects even though they have plenty of money to spend on their own. I never thought of the money stuff for them as too unfair, with the little detail we had, but I do think at a certain point it is smart to move on so that they can work on their own personal career so that they have something not tied to one employer and be stuck with it.

Mouse has been on and off stressed since around twitch con. It got to the point where even people /here/ were worried about her interactions w/ Connor. Then recently last month to this month she's gotten much happier. Not only talking about the beer promise like it's going to happen but also actually planning out more things to do with him irl.
