Suisei Hoshimachi is very good in Tetris and is stuck between too good to play with casuals but is too bad to play with pros. Some global ranked players have attempted to snipe her even, and was invited to 1v1 Amemiya Taiyou in national TV before as an exhibition match. Has 1.9k rating in Puyo2. Is also very strong in werewolf type games, among the strongest player in Project Winter even counting other vtubers outside Hololive, and is decent in Among Us. Her bloodlust earned her the nickname Suicopath and some very good fan arts like image related.

To be clear, she IS NOT a vtuber gamer, although she is very good in a few games she excels at, she does not stream them often, she does play shitty FOTM games sometimes like most vtubers does and always try something new. Aside from the mentioned games, her main content is karaoke.

Honestly it depends on the person and the game. Some people it just isn't fun to watch them when they suffer, others its more fun. And some games I love to watch at a high level moreso than low level. For instance, newbie gameplay for tetris is pretty boring. But Suisei just fucking destroying people is fun as hell.

Gura's an interesting case where her just fucking around trying to figure out how basic math & directions work is entertaining, but she does legitimately try to get good at games. Her minecraft hardcore stream was surprisingly good, and she obviously put real effort into preparing to learn to speedrun the game. I know its probably spurned on by her series of failures in the EN server, but its great to watch. I wanna see more rhythm gameplay from her but I doubt we'll see much going forward.

She tends to play games where "beat your head against the wall until you get good" is legit the only way to play them, and they don't really have much for skills that carry over. I watched (or listened to) Uto's 20 hours of Getting over it as she falls down, gets up, falls down, cry, get up and then becomes a boy, becomes a little girl, copes up with the stress and then beat the game anticlimactically.
