If you wanna go Hololive but get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of audience and the toxicity around EN has, I'd advise to check out ID vtubers specifically Risu, Reine, and Ollie. I was turned off by Ollie's loudness at first but I really like her minecraft zatsudans, the other two are really cute too. Or you could check out Mori's indie friends like Ririsya, Luci, Milky, and Rene, their main content is just casual singing so language barrier should not be a problem. Pikamee is awesome too btw
