I don't visit or watch anything about stars but I was reading a thread about unicorns and anit's and it made me wonder.

How is it Roberu can collab with Mea, and even get shipped with her and yet people go along with it? I looked at another mans thread and people jokes/hoped he got shipped with some other girls.

Do males get no unicrons and the women they are shipped with get the hate?
Are the unicorns already filtered?
Is the shipping seen as a joke or an actual ship?

I guess it's just the difference in fanbases. Most JP Holostars tend to emphasize the limit each have with their fans (one example would be like how the more BFE ones actually have fan representation mascots and the rest only have their own personal pet/mascot). Roberu is a special case in that he keeps the most anti-parasocial distance to his fans, he sees all the Regulars as equals to the point where he calls us word strings on a chat box. I think the reason is that he fully knows the responsibilities of being an idol because of his experience from idolmaster and their male side incident. He also knows when to keep a certain distance when he smells trouble (collabs with indies/other corps but would turn down Holo collabs like when FBK would ask for Phasmo collabs) and keeps his idol persona in collabs. He treats his collabs with Mea as an actual comedy duo and ignores the shippers. He does have yumes but they're very rare and used to the collabs, a lot of the fans want him to get married because he's too much of a boyfailure but still feel sorry for the woman who would eventually take up that role.
